Many sites since my last visit, Ryk!!
What's RH doing? Can't you install a dehumidifier?

Yeah, we be rollin' along :smoking::d5:.

The conditions are like that unfortunately, I've added another fan, I defoliate regularly and do dry cycles and it still stays mostly at 60%. Honestly, I'm not making a fuss about the 60% as the girls don't seem to care too much about that and I got 2 fans blowing on the canopy 24/7, so I really hope that mold shouldn't be a problem .

Of course it would be great that RH stays at 40% during flowering and I've considered investing in a dehumidifer. But when I sum it all up I would need to invest a nice amount of money if I want to buy a serious dehumidifer for my space and not some cheap ass shit. And I don't have that money right now, at least not for buying a dehumidifer :nono:.

So we will see, I really hope for the best and expect overall RH to drop in the coming days :pop:.

If anyone has any suggestions, speak up :toke:.

Ah, i understand!:pass:
You could also use salt! I worked once with it...make 2 bowls with a large surface with 500 gr. of normal cooking salt and place them in 2 different angles of the thent and i think you should reduce your rh about 5-10 %...it's the cheapest solution:smoking:

At mine i activate the the dehumidifier about week 4...it's all about transpiration:cheers:
About how plants are acting i start to reduce rh at week 5 step by step...the more i reduce rh and keep it dry inside plants need more water and nuts...the process is faster! at week 6 when they're in full flower action i go down to 30% rh and increase temps to 30°, so i can feed/water the 20 liter soil pots every day...often also twice and they explode:growing:

Very informative post dude .

First time that I've heard of this salt trick, but it does make sense. Did it work for you? The only problem I have is with the extraction fan working all the time, isn't it going to just keep filling the tent with new humid air? And when do I replace the salt, once it starts getting gooey? I know, so many questions :haha:. But I don't take information lightheartedly, need to check everything up :smoking:.

Where do you keep your dehumidifier? If you put it in your tent, do you have a working extraction fan too?

Thank you in advance mate :pass:.

Yes, it works...it's just normal science!
I a groom at the size of your tent it worked like i wrote, but i don't know how it works in dwc...it's all about transpiration!!! will tag you in some VERY informative threads here tomorow....no problem of the ex, in the tent it's own clime, you have to control by hours! rh to high increase, to low reduce, also at night with the windows at outside temps/rh..
replacing salt i did it every 12 hours, because i was once in the same situation like you...my dehumidifier is in the middle of my groom at it's best to control clims and yes!!! i only work with a ex fan in my self builded groom, no tent that will not work for me...I LIKE..building myself, bro:pass:

Heh, I've read up on Vapor Pressure Deficit and know I get why it's all about transpiration. Judging by the VPD guidelines I'm around ~12 which is not that bad at all. If this holds true (judging by the science it does), it completely changes my outlook on environmental conditions in grows :dizzy:.

Tag me up bro, I'm here to learn :d5:.

DAY 48

The girls liked their flowering boost very much and GBOG 3 didn't mind the supercropping, so everything is going fine :smoking:.

Leaves up!

See ya later :pighug:.

DAY 52:

Time for a major photo update :woohoo::woohoo1::thumbsup:. The girls were again watered with Bio PK after a day-and-a-half dry cycle, this time with 3L of a 5mL per L mix :shooty:. Did some (what I think will be the last) defoliation again, to get more lights to the buds and help RH levels. And last but not least, took the time to take every girl out of the tent and take one flash pic, one pic under normal light and close-up flash shots of the buds :vibe:. The buds, might I add, look delicious .

One more thing, it seems that GBOG 1 had a heavy hit of light bleaching which I was too slow to react to. Lights are at a better distance now and we got the whole canopy covered .

On to the pics - GBOG1:

We're now at a 5 day difference from the actual grow, so the sync is gonna happen finally in a couple of days :pop:. @Sensi Jay was asking for lights off pics, so here you go mate :welcome:. And @CoviklaFlaire asked me to tag him in the journal :cool1:. Finally, because it's a fine post, I'll call in some more grobros :coco: @RamboGarden @auto noob @TheMongol @archie gemmill @waynejohn @Fairlynew @Duggy @Eyes on Fire @Slowmo @KonopCh @Micron Creek @2Stoned2Care @MassMom

Maybe more people came to mind than expected, but what the heck :bighug:. Don't forget to click on the pictures for high rez versions, peace out :greenthumb:.
