thank you for reminding me @FastBuds to post my final comment since I already posted my final video I just posted my final comment on my grow log for this contest and thank you for the inspirational words they mean a lot to me
I am pretty sure everyone is excited to see how they did in the contest I sure am and to me everyone that took part of this contest are winners for just being able to be part of this contest and happy thanksgiving to those who celebrate it

i just wish there was a way to get all the weekly video updates in 1 thread because of all the chatting between them, it would make things more easy for the voters
It's going to take voters going through alot of threads to do it fairly so I think that's a great idea
@tripaholic88 Just do what I did in my thread, I did a recap with all of my weekly videos together. But as I recall and @FastBuds can clearify, the contest was for the final video as they said that there is only one submission. Not saying that the form is not being judged also, it's just the final one that is being weight the most, which is supposed To illustrate the strain you grew. In looking at what everyone did it looks as if the contest turned into trying to judge the entire form and that's not what this contest was about. So in fact all that needs to happen is we need to make it easy for the final video to be viewed as that's what their contest was about. And what is being weighed the most not all of the videos leading up to the final one.

About the way we imagine this contest to be developed from now:
Not only there is a final video to show and not only we'll take in count just the final video. It's a video grow journal, and as it name says, you have to go posting videos of your grow, too. As you do in the regular journals.
At the end of all the growing process, after the harvest, you'll have to make a final video of minimum 3 minutes about the strain grow. It can be a summary of the process, a compilation of best of your grow moments, a videoclip with the plant in your growroom... whatever you think that summarizes best your experience and growing process of the assigned strain; all that without forgetting it will have to be useful for that strain's future growers.
So, we have the periodical posts as creative as you want and the "final strain video" - let's call it like these to make it clear, if you want to.
Don't forget to follow all the basis:

The idea is give value to all: the grow journal itself, the plants, the grower and the final strain video you come up with. Obviously, we consider we can get a good video of a bad plant and viceversa or a better or worse journal.
THE 5 INPUTS TO BE CONSIDERED WILL BE
- The video grow journal,
- The plants themselves,
- The video's execution,
- Grower's creativity,
- The final strain video.
For the election you'll get 5 marks, one for each input. Read carefully how will they be given:
- We'll make a members poll where they'll have to rate 2 of the 5 inputswith a mark from 1 to 10: THE VIDEO GROW JOURNAL and THE VIDEO EXECUTION.
- FAST BUDS CREW will be the only to give a mark for the following 2 inputs: THE PLANTS THEMSELVES and THE GROWER'S CREATIVITY.
FROM THIS 4 INPUTS' MARKS, YOU'LL GET A WHOLE MARK. THIS WHOLE MARK WILL BE THE 75% OF THE FINAL MARK. - APART FROM THE MENTIONED 4 INPUTS, THE LAST MARK WILL BE THE FINAL STRAIN VIDEO. This mark will count more than the others, proportionally. This mark will be given by FAST BUDS CREW, too.
THE FINAL VIDEO STRAIN MARK WILL BE THE REMAINING 25% OF THE FINAL MARK.

right, but # 1 is talking about every weekly video update so they will be judged also... # 's 3 and 4 are also tied into each weekly update
we will see what SOH and FastBuds wants to do im game for whatever guys!
[HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] and 4 yes [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] is referring to the final video submission, Hence the ('s) referring to a singular ownership but like you had said it's what ever they decide. Not everyone followed the guidelines anyway. The final videos was supposed to be a compilation of the whole grow so that they can use it for their marketing. Not so easy showing someone multiple videos to try to get their sales up. And agin that's why they said only one submission per grower. Not to mention the final video was worth 25% of the mark we will be getting.

The poll is for the items the users will vote. When we talked about THE VIDEO GROW JOURNAL and THE VIDEO EXECUTION (inputs [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] & [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG]) means only the users have to vote 2 inputs for the "best thread" under the point of view of a user/reader:
[HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] THE VIDEO GROW JOURNAL = THE DIARY ITSELF IN GENERAL.
[HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG] THE EXECUTION = IF USERS LIKE THE WAY YOU DID THE UPDATES.
[HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG] THE PLANTS THEMSELVES: they will be voted by us only and we are up to date and we've been following your diaries.
[HASHTAG]#4[/HASHTAG] GROWER'S CREATIVITY: idem [HASHTAG]#2[/HASHTAG].

If we say "video" we refer to the whole "videodiary", if we say "final video" we are referring to the final video only. So, inputs 2,4 and 5 will be voted only by our crew.
