About the way we imagine this contest to be developed from now:

Not only there is a final video to show and not only we'll take in count just the final video. It's a video grow journal, and as it name says, you have to go posting videos of your grow, too. As you do in the regular journals.
At the end of all the growing process, after the harvest, you'll have to make a final video of minimum 3 minutes about the strain grow. It can be a summary of the process, a compilation of best of your grow moments, a videoclip with the plant in your growroom... whatever you think that summarizes best your experience and growing process of the assigned strain; all that without forgetting it will have to be useful for that strain's future growers.

So, we have the periodical posts as creative as you want and the "final strain video" - let's call it like these to make it clear, if you want to.

Don't forget to follow all the basis:

1. 1. Only one report per grower is allowed.
   2. All the 3 seeds provided must be grown. If you can't grow them 3, send us a PM with the reason, please. We'll get a solution.
   3. Real date and time must be shown periodically during the posted videos.
   4. Videos must have argumentative comments, oral and/or written.
   5. Minimum length for the final video: 3 min.
   6. Mínimum video quality: 720p.
   7. You must manifest agreeing on sharing all or any part of your final production with FastBuds, and allow FastBuds to make further use from it for its own concerns. We’ll quote the autor when we’ll make use of the provided video material.

10. AFN Media Policy

1. www.autoflower.net is not responsible for the content or links to media sites (such as YouTube) posted on the forum.

Once this is known again and after reading again all the thread and considering some suggestions you all have done, here are the final terms:

HOW AND WHAT YOU SHOULD TAKE IN COUNT IN ORDER TO IMPROVE YOUR WINNING POSSIBILITIES

The idea is give value to all: the grow journal itself, the plants, the grower and the final strain video you come up with. Obviously, we consider we can get a good video of a bad plant and viceversa or a better or worse journal.

THE 5 INPUTS TO BE CONSIDERED WILL BE

1. The video grow journal, ​
2. The plants themselves, ​
3. The video's execution, ​
4. Grower's creativity,​
5. The final strain video.​

For the election you'll get 5 marks, one for each input. Read carefully how will they be given:

1. We'll make a members poll where they'll have to rate 2 of the 5 inputs with a mark from 1 to 10: THE VIDEO GROW JOURNAL and THE VIDEO EXECUTION.
2. FAST BUDS CREW will be the only to give a mark for the following 2 inputs: THE PLANTS THEMSELVES and THE GROWER'S CREATIVITY.
   
   FROM THIS 4 INPUTS' MARKS, YOU'LL GET A WHOLE MARK. THIS WHOLE MARK WILL BE THE 75% OF THE FINAL MARK.
3. APART FROM THE MENTIONED 4 INPUTS, THE LAST MARK WILL BE THE FINAL STRAIN VIDEO. This mark will count more than the others, proportionally. This mark will be given by FAST BUDS CREW, too.
   
   THE FINAL VIDEO STRAIN MARK WILL BE THE REMAINING 25% OF THE FINAL MARK.

SO, TO CALCULATE THE FINAL MARK (100%):

THE WHOLE INPUTS' MARK 75%

The video grow journal,​

The plants themselves,​

The video's execution, ​

Grower's creativity.​

Thanks bro. we'll try to setup a nice way to show it properly with the admins. The idea is having a thread for each grower inside a main contest thread folder with accorded headings for each thread.



The idea of having some milestones during the contest is great. And we have to state if you must or not publish something periodically all at the same time. It should be great to announce for AFN a massive posting updates in the contest thread.

Your proposal is nice, but as somebody said, the cameras allow you to show the date and time while you record or shoot. For us this is enough. If you wanna do it in a creative way, it's up to you. Just for you to know... we love creativity!

this place is on fire with the good vibes everybody loves competition. I hope I get my ass kicked by you guys.. that's what makes these fun. I'm not going to like any of you less if I lose but I might steal some of your growing skills

I have a box standard setup and am here to show people what can be done with a simple setup and the awsome fastbuds genetics I would say ure a very good grower Weirdbeard it's s. Honour to be in this comp with all you guys n gals

@FastBuds have use spoke with afn on vid uploads as it dosent allow it and youtube I can do but would prefer to directly upload to Afn if possible instead of having to upload to youtube then link it peace ✌
