New Grower 100% pure strain vs Crossbreed HELP

Im looking to order from att seeds but am having alittle trouble on deciding on witch is best having a 100% pure purple strain vs a Crossbred of the purple ? So i like the purple color of the buddha purple kush witch is 100% pure purple strain and another purple lookin cannabis by the name of Jota mayuscula purple witch is a crossbred of purple kush auto and OG kush , I will be using tiresias mist on it to reproduce fem auto seeds and would hate the possibility of loosing the purple look with generations of seeds down the line. If i use tiresias mist on the Jota mayuscula is their a chance my seeds can have more of a trait of og kush then over the purple kush and look green, or would it be more safe to tiresias mist the Buddha purple kush auto since it being a 100% pure purple strain? The spray shouldn't affect your plants genetics however there is a possibility of different phenotypes/characteristics presentinG itself naturally.

Would i have a less of a chance of that happening by choosing the buddha purple kush auto witch is 100% pure purple strain instead of choosing the jota mayuscula purple auto witch is purple kush auto x og kush ?

Indeed an inbred purple kush line would easily mantain the purple trait, the OG cross would likely go lost if not selected for it in next generations.
What exactly is your goal, preserving the purple dominance and make a reproduction of fem seeds from it(purple f2)? This would mean further inbreeding and maybe bottlenecking if you only use few individualy like 1 female+1 male.
Maybe pick 2 different purple varieties rather than just one and use multiple selected plants with purple dominant genes, which requires some testing or luck

I have grown the purple kush twice, both purpled up like a son of a bitch but the bud density was not good at all. Look at black cream from sweet seeds if you have to have a purple. Just tossing my 2¢ around.

Thank you so much for all the replys.The thing is im looking for a strain that does not have the green color flower,prying eyes and heli's like to look for .So what i assume i can not or should not inbreed a plant with the same strain. So im looking at the Jota mayuscula purple auto and black cream .What confuses me is witch one should be male or female and what attributes will be dominant or recessive depending on witch is male or female. I will be using auto fem seeds and tiresias mist to turn one male. Just curious can i do this._male Jota mayuscula purple auto crossed with female black cream and then on a 2nd run do male black cream crossed with female Jota mayuscula purple auto?

And i also visually like these 2 strain alot and would like to preserve the orginal strain without crossing with something else.Could this be preserved without loosing any attributes?If so how?

You can always backcross to the original parent, to keep the ratio of original genes high.
Who knows what are the breeding attributes of such strains, to me they all sound pretty generic, probably not so distant genetically.
As I said, one has to test every strain for progeny to be able to have an idea on which traits remain dominant and which will fade in some generations.

A good place to start in my opinion would be with some purple kush(9 weeks flowering- paki chitral kush selected for purple - as example), crossed with a purple haze selection(18wk flower.
Then doing some generations of selecting F2s, possibly backcrossing to original PCK and bring down the flowering time.
I have an idea what kind of hybrids could come out, surely a lot of potential in those genes and enough diverse genetics to be able to push some generations more before bottlenecking occurs.

And a most important thing, do your breeding with regular seeds, not feminised. Fem seeds retain less diverse genes than reg seeds.

The strain i really would like to preserve is an auto-fem seed how would i go about preserveing this strain and can i do it without crossing the strain with a different strain and how? Pro's and cons? How do you reproduce these auto seeds? Witch one would have to be male and witch one should be female if i have to cross them to preserve the strain? The strain i would like to preserve is Jota mayuscula purple auto .And its a mix of og kush x purple kush auto. And what would happen if i crossed two auto's fem's by turning one maleby using a tiresias mist or CS?
