Is it easier to feed liquid fertilizers in the small pots since they need things quicker? Teas the best option? What is Easier to calculate amounts of feed and cal mag?
Really appreciate the direction! Thanks
Man, this is a loaded question LOL. Honestly, these plants are very resilient and from my little experience with autos/indoors they will handle whatever you throw at them. You have to really overfeed/overwater to screw them up. That being said, the
trio is probably a pretty safe bet at half strength. You
might see a little burn at that strength depending on the genetics but I highly doubt it. Treat your 1 gallon grow as you would any other just plan on watering more often than you would in a big pot. I also grow in 1 liter pots for spaces sake and I don't do anything different with them just water daily sometimes twice a day. I have had pretty good luck even in 1 liter pots.
One thing I will say, your PH has to be on point whether you're growing in a solo cup or a 10 gallon pot. I've always used
outdoors just because it is on the cheaper side but since starting indoors I've started using the PH Perfect line from Advanced Nutrients and not having to PH your water has been a huge timesaver. My plants are doing so much better than they were on
too. Don't get me wrong
is great, but AN just has a slight edge due to their ease of use and overall plant health. YMMV
Concerning Cal-Mag, I feed it from the start. I use Botanicare + and follow the label rec's. 5ml/Gal. I usually taper to 2.5ml/Gal at the start of flower then stop altogether a few weeks into flower.
Again, this is what works for me. I've been growing outdoors off and on for 25 years but just recently started growing autos/indoors. They're really not all that different.
