Indoor $1.50 Seed Grow! Are cheap seeds worthwhile?

Just made another order at Linda's...Got some nice Dutch Passion freebee's with the order... The White Widow cultivars are for one of my breeding projects... I've been breeding with regular Auto's for a couple of grows now. Next up I want the best White Widow Auto Reg I can make. Until now I've only had Dutch Passion's Auto White Widow and I must say, it is a quality cultivar. So what better then trying to outdo the best in the business or at least learn how to get from an Photo/Auto hybrid, to a full Auto, while keeping all the White Widow characteristics
So all these WW are Photo's...
The Auto Do Si Dos I've grown already and I just wanted some extra seeds for when I feel like growing this cultivar again. Yum
And the Auto Mintz just looked nice in the picture, lol...

Only negative thing I have to say about Linda's is that paying via visa or mastercard is suddenly impossible for me...Something todo with a 3D card or something. Luckily I live in Europe and payment withing the European Union is free of charge, so I made a bank transfer.
Now we wait a week or two for the parcel to arrive and then it'll be added to my already corpulent seed collection...

I've got some very nice Northern Lights auto growing right now, and some that are ready to harvest. I've also grown Linda's Sunset Sherbet And that is excellent smoke! So is there NL auto, I've harvested one and I find it to be the best of several NL autos I've grown from other breeders. The one funky looking plant is a mutt.... It was suppose to be a Blueberry Headband photo..!!

It's a mix. The Do-si-dos and Mintz are Auto. The Widow's are all feminized Photo's.
Also bought a pack White Widow reg Photo from De Sjamaan and Dutch Passion is sending me a reg pack of White Widow's to experiment with.
It doesn't stop there...Late this night I entered an auction at Mr. Nice Seeds and won both a Dreamtime (mix) pack and a Black (White) Widow reg pack.
Doesn't matter whose origin story is correct, I've got the genetics from all players now and will do my own blind selection, select which one is the best for me. Then I'd like to turn that in an Auto...
It's going to be a whole new ball game for me as I don't have any experience in growing Photo's. I'll need to learn how to make clones as this is the advantage of growing photo's. Once you find a "special" one, you clone it and use it further down the line to do a Bx for example...Any tips or (youtube)clips I should see on the subject, please do tell me

If your going to use a tray and dome, get a good one! The cheap domes don't seal well to the trays and the vents are crap. The one I have now I only had to spray once every 4 days, instead of 2-3 times a day!

If your going to use a tray and dome, get a good one! The cheap domes don't seal well to the trays and the vents are crap. The one I have now I only had to spray once every 4 days, instead of 2-3 times a day!

Cool one dude!! And even with a heating pad underneath...So jealous, can't get it over here...Even Jeff Bezos is lying to me that it's out of stock...
You know I'm into tech and DIY, right?
Last year I ordered a 60x60cm / 2x2' heating pad. It's controlled by an ESP device, which switches a 40A SSR. Overkill, I know...But better to be safe then sorry...
For germinating, I bought this set...Someone here, sorry me and names...anywho, the other guy gets credits for this one though
Very happy with this one. I can adjust the intensity and set a light on/off schedule....

Only thing I advise in using these, is put some sort of plastic cutouts in the bottom of the seed starter tray.
This way you can push from the bottom and the seedlings will come out easier and there's less chance in damaging those fragile roots.

The heating pads are not needed, in fact, I've never needed one, with the growroom average temp of 75F, perfect for germination!
DIY... I control the light in the tray by placing a white trash bag over the dome ( unfolded )!
