Now in the last few days I did a heavy defoliation to NL2 who started pumping out frost afterwards. I did a light defoliation on NL1 and it has been pumping out the buds and resin beautifully. My intent is in probably the next 10 days to do a res clean and switch to dry KoolBloom to try find the best time between the both of them.

So you think a light defoliation would help during flowering? I don't want to too much and mess up the bud growth

I frequently remove mature fan leaves that were blocking other buds or incredibly low on the stem. NL2 vegged longer and was always leafy with more bud sites than NL1 this requiring, in my opinion, a heavy defoliation especially after my mistakes with the KoolBloom.

If you think you're getting proper air flow and light to your bud sites than I wouldn't but also if your buds are filling in nicely it might still help. I don't think there's a particularly clear answer outside of reading your plants

Steady as she goes! NL2 getting frosty finally. Removed more fan leaves from NL2 and a few from NL1.

Cleaned out the reservoir and did some half strength MaxiBloom with full strength dry KoolBloom and half strength CaliMagic.

NL1 -
Buds getting dense and filling out from top to bottom on upper canopy. Mid canopy still fattening up while lower parts of canopy are pop corn that is getting dense. Removed more fan leaves.

NL2 -
Removed more fan leaves. Everything is budding and filling out but not looking too dense. It's two weeks behind NL1 and it shows but it is also bigger.

First 9 shots are NL2 followed by NL1. I did some shots from below and the side to really show the development of the buds and all the resin it's been producing.
