Just saw this section and decided to post here.
I rebuilded my CXB 2530 panel yesterday to improve cooling. First one was sloppy made and fast, I was in a hurry. This one is better but also fast made so not very clean but who cares.
It has 4xCXB 2530 3000K T4 bin cobs on Meanwell...
Hi all. I just ordered parts for my first COB build. I'm going with a Ctizen CLU048-1212 3000K LED chip paired with a 50W 1500MA driver from here. I will be mounting this on an Arctic Alpine 11 GT Rev2 heatsink (75W heat dissipation). Was shooting for the 100w version but was limited with a...

My self and 2 other members were graciously given the chance to test out some of Spectrum Kings finest LEDs. Spectrum King kindly donated 3 different units for testing, one to each member. The 3 units are as follows; links have been left under the title's for your own consideration...

Ok everyone I'm looking to update my LEDs in my stealth cab. Running Mars 300s in there now but want to upgrade. I have 2 in mind but won't mention them just to see what others says.
Entire height of space available is 38", once I add in the pots I use it drops to 30". Then I have to remove the...
I modified a few more Mars 300's
Order the heat sinks from heatsink USA
I used Cree COB's CXB 3590's in 3500 k 72 volt.
I used Arctic silver 5 thermal paste.
I also used kapton tape.
Pretty easy mod just take out the old board and heatsink and secure the two new ones silicone them in and...
@BombSeeds was generous enough to allow our Cannazone testing team to test ALL of their autoflower -and- photoperiod strains over the course of the next year or so. We are prepping our team and in a few weeks we hope to be starting with the grow and shows! Keep your eyes on this spot and check...

Hi all,
We seem to have a lot of brits on this site and considering I am Canadian (hi cousins) we don't get plagron lite mix or grow northern leds. Lots of great grows come from this duo. I would like an unbiased opinion on led lights that compare to the gn series including mars. Any opinions...
Hello All-
Noticed this brown rust looking spot and was wondering if there is an issue. She is planted in Roots Organic top layer and bottom layer is gbd soil from Mephisto mixed with Roots Organic.
Only been giving her distilled water with cal/mag. Recently upped the cal/mag from 1 teaspoon...

Well ladies and gentlemen as the title suggest I NEED HELP.
I have a mars 1200 and want to turn it into a cob fixture to turn on between 2 platinum LED to boost power during the flowering of my plants.
Unlike the video I was provided from you tube i will not be using the original panel...
Sorry- i hit the wrong key. Just waking up and only my first cup of coffee. This afternoon I will transplant her in her final pot with GBD soil mix with Roots Organic soil and the top half with Roots Organic soil only. Not sure if I should add perlite or leave be. I think I should add perlite...
Good Morning All-
Here is my AK Auto at Day 7. She is already looking better than my last grow in Fox Farm Ocean Forest soil.
Will transplant her next Saturday in her final containier.
Thoughts anyone?

Pulled the trigger last week on ordering the pieces parts to build out a new light for the closet. Got most of the basic mechanical build out done today, so figured it was a good time to start documenting a little for anyone that might want to check out the build.
Key Parts:
4x Cree CXB 3590...
Good Morning All-
Rains have finally stopped in Texas. We have been getting enormous amounts of rain in the last 2 months so this is really nice. Beautiful sunshine makes me want to grow:)
Anyway, here is my AK auto at Day 3. So far so good.
Thanks

So by all means nothing in this thread will change the world, alter
zthe time/space continuum nor make anyone a millionaire but it will be fun and with a little luck work and make my next grow(s) better. And lastly maybe give someone else inspiration to do the same.
What I have is a year old...
First off thank you @Atulip for all your help..
It was actually a pretty easy build.. The two hardest things to do we're get the glass off and get the solder to stick to the cree's. I did use some existing screws and fabricated some pieces to hold the heat sinks in tight.. I am ordering the...
A Jack 47 Auto seed has been placed in a small pot of coco to germinate while awaiting harvest.
She will eventually reside in a 15L Autopot of coco and perlite.
Hope she grows as easy as the Ice Cool...:pass:
To start, credit goes to growmau5 for the idea and just rediculous amounts of information on DIY cob leds.
