@GasPlease you’re partly correct, ambient grow room air is pulled into the a/c unit from a vent at the back of the machine (below the bottom left duct), it goes through the unit and hot smelly air gets pushed out (bottom left duct) and goes out the window.
The hot tent air that is pulled into the unit from the tent (red duct) is cooled and pushed back out into the tent again (blue duct).
That’s supposed to be a closed circuit, and no tent air is supposed to be pushed out the window.
As well as the AeroLush on the left of the tent in the diagram above, you’ll see the carbon filter and extraction inside the tent, with ducting leading to the right and up out of the tent.
I have done this to my set up, and have it on the minimum setting as recommended, to get negative pressure in the tent, but not too much!
@Vitaman I did ask Vivosun if it was worth trying an inline carbon filter (only made by AC Infinity LOL) in the window duct and they said that it would cause an inbalance in the air flow and the machine wouldn’t work properly - backpressure I imagine.
My growshop said it must be because the air in my frow room is smelling of weed because my existing carbon filter is a brand they don’t stock (and is therefore inferior LOL). Not the case, and it is brand new, and it works, there is minimal weed smell in my grow room, and the smell coming out via the AeroLush is MUCH stronger.
You Guys are on the right track and have given me some workable solutions (although I have never seen Ona products in this country), but I think @Antonio has hit the nail on the head…
I should get another small tent and push the window exhaust into that, and have a carbon filter in the tent with ducting leading out of that tent and out the window, and a fan pushing out the air at a faster rate than the air going in, to create negative pressure in that auxillary or lung tent. Is that correct Antonio?
Luckily the Cop was just after video footage of a car thief, he went through one of my neighbours’ front door, took the car keys on the table by the door, went into the garage and drove his Landcruiser straight out, along with his new golf clubs!
The Cop MUST have smelled it, so for me the stress will linger… what if he has a slow day and decides to come back to get some numbers on the board?

I only found out recently that in Holland, magic truffles (Sclerotia or Philosopher Stones) are legal! My Girls are on the lookout for some!
I have a nice looking harvest… I have some Sawney “Crystal Meth” which has been drying for about 10 days, then last weekend I took down an Dutch Passion “Auto Strawberry Soda”, a Sawney “LSD” and a Dinafem “Blue Amnesia XXL” (gifted to me by Dinafem Mark many years ago!).
I also have the Albino Trinitys and TAT Wombats about to do a second flush!
