I started 1 seed of each last Saturday and so far two have sprouted tails and went into the dirt..the only one that has not sprouted a tail yet is the MJ12 Project, so I started a second seed last night.
Starting out the seeds with a wet paper towel in a baggie…so far this is the first time I didn’t get a seed to crack. After about 2 days, Way 2 Good and the cross strain cracked and went into dirt Monday.
This morning Way 2 Good and the Killing Fields cross strain broke ground.
Both got a light dose of Fox Farms Big Bloom to kick start them and I am trying to get them as big as I can in the next few weeks before they are going outdoors.
But… 2 seeds down, no sprouts of the MJ12 Project. I’ll toss another one into the paper towel in a little bit and hope I get lucky… third times the charm, right?
Sorry everyone, I got so busy with getting the garden ready that I forgot about my posts…
Anyway, both plants were moved outside on Sunday. They are taking to the new environment very well. They will be getting a top dressing soon with Fox Farms Cultivation Nation Veggie.
Both plants are loving the outdoors and I swear I can see them grow on a daily. The Cross Strain (Killing Field x Original Haze x Way 2 Good) is definitely winning right now, but the Way 2 Good is just about to GO!
There is some ruderallis from The Rev which is Animal Mint Cookies x Straw Dawg EV. That’s 4 generations in. That one is definitely an odd ball phenotype. I honestly would not have thought any of these would auto flower, that will honestly work out in your favor because the mother in that cross went 13 weeks in flower and stretched for like 4 weeks in preflower. That phenotype took after great grandma for sure.
The Rev was outcrossed to Sour Bubble x Apple Fritter both photoperiods then that was crossed to the OHZ x Killing Fields both photoperiods.
I may have to go hunting for an auto now in that mix.
@Jean-O the Killing Field x Original Haze x Way 2 Good is frosting up nicely and about 5 foot tall now. I am very impressed and cannot wait to see the end result!
Both plants are chugging along. My friend pointed out that the Way 2 Good has purple stems… I guess I really didn’t notice. Is this a sign of a deficiency?
On the other hand, the Killing Field x Haze x Way 2 Good that’s an Auto is, well, killing it! She is frosting up nicely and probably have only a couple of weeks left.
Purple stems can be signs of deficiencies but can also be genetic. If the rest of the plant is looking healthy, I’d say it’s probs genetic. Can also happen with cooler weather to a lot of strains.
