Hi all, I have a slight leak where the tap exits the reservoir.
It forms a small bead of water and then runs down. Would some bathroom sealant fix this?
Not sure If it will adhere to the Res or not.

Has anyone else had this issue? I've tried tightening the fitting more etc. Still slowly leaking.

Thanks.

People laugh when I say this as the product started out as “advertised on tv”, but that flex seal stuff works amazing amd hold up.

I use these 55 gal drums that were first used for bulk food like olives, etc. They clean and sterilize them and resell them for rain barrels. For $50 they’re a steal.

Anyway, they come with a bulkhead spigot installed which has needed some love on 2 of the 4 barrels I have purchased thus far.

Flex seal and all is well.

Get a bead around the plug and smooth with your finger. Wait about 10 minutes and repeat.

Should fix any drip and hold. I’m up to 3.5 years on my first barrel fix without a care or worry at all.

Thanks dude! Appreciate the reply and advice

You’re welcome. A bit late as I would guess you had probably fixed it. Still good to know for next time though! :D
