missed your thread until now, sorry bro. loads to read

you got buds on top of buds in here dude, great growing! all looks top quality.

Hi all.

Struggling to contain the smell :-( Making me a very nervous and unhappy boy. The smell is small currently and only noticeable within 0.5m

Have added 300g of activated carbon to the output of the 6" silencer. Seems to be helping (just done).

I also dropped the speed of the 6" pump which also seems to have helped.

I am surprised - the 6" filter is only 1 grow old (I guess it is stuffed ??? Rhino Pro FWIW.). The 4" is 2 grow old and fairing better (cheap Amazon offering).

this post stood out, i have a Rhino Pro 300mm filter attached to a 6" Presh fan and it ain't combating the smell so good at the moment. hopefully i can come up with a fix myself, too. doesn't help i have two of Mephisto's stinkiest strains pushing flowers out :haha:

:nicethread: bro, subbed :hump:

Thanks!!

In the end I bolted a second 4" carbon filter on to the output of the main 6" extractor. It was pretty easy as I could attach them via the 6" muffler in-between. That reduced the smell to zero. :)

It also reduced noise :)

I just received my Sour Livers seeds. Cannot wait to get them going in the new year, having seen your diary!

to be fair, i'm not sure it's an issue with the Pro filter - the odours are creeping out of my cupboard through the door cracks. these were an easy solution for intake at the time - meant i didn't have to hack a hole in to the bottom of the built-in wardrobe. now i've switched on my big oscillating fan, it's essentially pushing the air through the gaps way before it has a chance to get sucked out by the filter in to the loft.

not sure if i was a bit late to the party to see any Livers hype, think they released in 2017, but there's a lack of 'em being grown, imo. i could not ask for an easier plant to grow for my first. it's fast, and it's complained about nothing. i can't place her aroma, but then every time i see a description of her smell/taste, nobody really can! at this point in my grow, i can't recommend Sour Livers enough. good choice!

So, I have to get rid of the tent outside :-( Well at least until the new year.

Not too bad, it is day 121.

I chopped the Narcotic Kush, and she is now drying.

For sure, the prettiest of the ladies I have grown. I am hoping for a reasonable yield from her.

She smells mind boggling great! Pine, citrus and something else.

I would estimate at 20% amber trichs.

Just the chocolate orange left - I will probably chop her Friday next week.

So the day has come and the last girl has been chopped.

She is all white and crystally. I cannot detect much citrus smell yet, but definitely something chocolatey!

Weights to follow for the Narcotic Kush and the Chocolate Orange.
