My f3 1976 Ashland OR.blueberry auto .

I’ve been growing cannabis and collecting pure genetics from around the world since 1990. I learned the craft in the Mecca of Eugene Oregon. I have been breeding cannabis since 2004. I have amassed one of the finest collections of pure strains in US hands. Many of my genetics came directly from Neville in Amsterdam in the 2000’s. He would open up preserved older genetics from cups and things he liked. Some of these genetics came from the 80s and some from the 70s , a phenomenal Ashland Oregon “ true “ blueberry of tiny yield but monster flavor and a purple thai( blueberry is purple Thai and afghan kush) My other genetics came from traveling to Morocco ,and the Hindu Kush mountain range and many regions .im mostky a indica guy but love South African sativas . . I’ve bred many of my old genetics and pure strains and have an interesting list. NOW , I have worked on an autoflower strain ( or two ) . I have had (Matsu Valley ) Alaskan “ ruderalis “ which is a semi autoflower seeds since 1997 which I obtained in Juneau AK. I worked these genetics with my blueberry male for a few generations and now am doing a grow of my f4 breeding for the first time here. If everything goes well I’ll offer testers for folks to try. I hope the seeds I selected will make the grade. I’ve got the breeding down , but I’ll say it’s been wild to go fro photoperiod to auto growing. The blueberry I’m growing here likes nothing and in just using regular ROOTS soil . I’ve put some seeds in 3 and 5 gallon pots and may go outdoors or under a budget LED red spec 480 watt v2 in a 5x5.
Outdoor Coukd be fun what do you think?
Here are some pics of my photoperiod purple Thai and Pakistani chitral .

Cheers glad to be here ! I’ve been watching you all have so much fun I thought I’d try to become a part of the autoflower world.
Seeds popped in two days in paper towels and placed into roots soil. A few look leggy under a T5 , I may harden them and veg outside, then flower indoors . I am guessing fro years of experience this strain should test at a flat out 20% . My blueberry male produces potent material .

It’s one of my largest yielders and it’s a Bush. Dark green leaves with ( should be ) purple , not red or pink. The best pheno is the green with purple underneath the leaves making it purple when it hangs to dry. It’s the strongest.

END OF WEEK 8
so I cut the green pheno at 56 days . The bottoms say it could have gone longer but it was reaching diminished returns which is when I harvest. I don’t need a scope to tell trich color and this one is about stone cold done. I’m going to let the other three go another week , but one looks like a few more days .
The green pheno is purple actually once the leaves curl up. It’s actually the color I’m looking for as the lavender and blacker phenos are fruitier, but don’t have the sweet skinniness of the Hindu Kush like this one . This plant is over 3 feet and grew a nice long connecting cola. I’m showing the natural profile of the plant so you can decide what or if to train or scrog. Although these blueberries arefast they really stretch under the led , shorter under halide. Dripping with resin I’m really looking forward to smoking this one. A tester bud dried on the light overnite smoked smooth, strong.
I could harvest all the plants , I like to err on the side of early then late. I’m not a fan of sleepy overdone weed . I like it a little premature and opposed to overdone .

Fantastic job! Looks great I can't wait to grow these! My Pakistani chitralX trinity kush is doing well. Happy so far. I will update tomorrow. Great gals here

Huge yield “ purple Thai pheno “ at 56 days .Fruity , like the Thai .very very sweet smelling and fruity but lacks the earthy skunk of the green pheno. Double the yield however I’d guess. A 42 inch plant . Every nug is tight and glistening . Looks more pink in this pic with flash. I’ll try some daylight before I cut .

Here is “ the runt “ or Rudy. The “ Ruderalis “
Pheno. Ok so this plant at is maybe one foot tall. .Early on it exhibited the hay like smell of Ruderalis had no frost. Well she’s really come along! So , I took a bottom nug and dried on driver all nite. Super strong. Terribly potent even cooked for 12 hours on a led driver. It’s small but everything is bright red . This is the first week she’s even showed resin and all I can say is it tastes like my Ruderalis a bit. I love it. It’s blue tasting but with a deep “ Mendocino” smell. I can’t nail it but it reminds me of old mendo Indica. Won’t yield much but great power and spirit.

Here is the “ Spicy blueberry pie”
Pheno This girl is not as strong as the others yet from nug dried on light test. However, she has a u inquest very almost pumpkin pie/ Bluberry pie / smell. It has a hint of clove and although the bluberry pie is the terp profile I’m chasing, this is sooo spicy. It also is exhibiting a lavender of the calyx which is different. Good yield. Here she is at 56 days . She’ll potent up this week.

She’s super pretty
Thanks Derek . The marion Berry kush you have is a much bigger yielder then this Bluberry.similair colors but a much darker green . Much more bushy. LST works well . I don’t top autos . I have a regualr auto PAK that is a 10 week strain It vegs for 4-5 weeks so it’s great to scrog or too . My berry strains start flowering at 3 weeks so I usually just let them go. It’s fine to defoliate it if needed .
As soon as everything is out I’ll send you some of these BBs for your seed bank.

Hellll yeah and man if your berrys shownsex at 3 weeks just wait til you see em in my setup. Generally it shaves about a week off. Sometimes more, so if this Marion Berry finishes as quick as you say and yields like you are taking about then we will have a very bright future! I updated on the communal thread

I had 3 of the cookies n chem v2 show sex at day 13 a few days ago. That’s the quickest I’ve seen a femmed plant show that’s for sure

Hey thanks Derek. I’m really existed to see them with some real sunlight. Are you running 24 hours?

For this grow I used roots regular soil with no additives. I also used the entire line of VEGAMATRIX . I grew vegan hydroponics for years with CANNA BIO , I’m down with clean vegan weed. It’s not always as dank or powerful but it’s cleaner, sweeter, more delicate but with a less complex , but “ juicier” terp and resin production .
For photos I use my own organicsoil or vegan soilless mix. I get great yields with my organic mix and fert. I get great yields with soiless mix and CANNA BIO . I’m getting a little Smaller yield with plain ROOTS soil VEGAMATRIX , but I didn’t follow the directions til they flowered ( ie, I did not give fert every watering ) but I still like it for autos and I’ll tell you why.
although it may be a good business decision to create a brand of fertilizer that you use every time it’s also a good decision to feed your plants this way. VEGAMATRIX feeding closet to growing hydro beciase your feeding every watering. I’m using the full line with the hypha and Phyre and hard and quick and big and sticky. the big and sticky is the PK boost and works quick . You see autos grow so quick that I feel feeding light every time with this product works well. No buildup or lockout, no overfeeding. Vegan fert even in high PPMs isn’t going to burn like chem fert, I was tempted to hit them. With a 0-50-0 to blow them up to show off but these are vegan and super stinky, sticky. Look if your growing chem your going to see way bigger buds from my genetics then you saw here, Or eleven of you just boost with chem or a Chem PK boost.
my mistake with the VEGAMATRIX is I didn’t give it every time .
At first I thought the root soil was a little hot for the seedlings so I was just giving them water, I also did fert -wateru til they flowered then I decided to follow the directions correctly. This fert is light is enough but strong enough to use Every time you water .
woukd I use it again, sure but I think it’s expensive, initially only. . I had all parts and ran out of the bloom , boost,( cal mag) and big and sticky in two 4 plant grows and one outdoor.4 plant grow . It actually lasts well beciase all the other parts last you just use a little . all you will be buying mostly is bloom boost and big and sticky , the prime zyme you use a little less of but the expensive stuffYou won’t have to buy often. You won’t have to buy often. I have 9 parts . These are quarts so it goes a long way for tent growing and smaller crops. I would want gallons for any large grow. , I think canna cost more .
If not using animals products is attractive to you or you can’t tolerate organic fert locked up in your weed, VEGAMATRIX is a good choice along with CANNA BIO. I prefer the molasses in canna , but I really like feeding every time .esoeciakky for fast growing autos.
The directions given are for an eight week Indica or I believe a 10 or 11 week hybrid.
I followed the 8 week Indica, and started at week one , week two I jumped to week 4 , week three I jumped to week 6 week 5 of flower I jumped to week 7 and week 6 I jumped to week 8 . It worked well but we will know more once I give it the smoke and forehead test.( does it stick to my forehead.) if so then it has enough terp Anderson for me .
Maybe this should be in fert reviews ?
Don

END OF WEEK 9.
just a few pics before the cut. I have 60 gallon rain buckets and the plants will go outside and have about 30 gallons of rainwater ru n through each bucket slow after they dry out. I add 10% strength fertilizer OR miollasses or both. I’ve run Clearex before. A note on flushing. Clear water doesn’t flush well. You need something in the water to bind to the fert and wash it away. That’s why the 10th strength fert and the molasses just to sugar up. I can tell the difference between my weed thy is given clear water to flush for week or two a and plant I flush 50
Gallons through with a sucrose or glucose . One of the challenges of my growing life has been proper flushing of outdoor in the ground cannabis. .I live Kush and I’ve over flushed late and molded. For autos I give fert til I flush. Vegan fert? It tastes cleaner with more SWEET TERPS in a strain popping as opposed to DANK TERPS, hope that makes sense. I think the VEGAMATRIX is fine for Bluberry it a fruity strain, but for a chitral say or limonene, I prefer live organic soil.
Ill
Post the flush and fill plant profiles .
