Outdoor first time grow coming up, guerilla style

Hey all.
newbie here based in Wales. I'm going to be starting my first grow soon, seeds are purchased, just waiting for delivery.
My plan is to germinate in my shed, seedlings straight to soil (soil taken from grow spot to my shed) and then transfer to grow site after a few weeks once around the 150mm height Mark.
I'm thinking to put some cow pat to the areas I take the soil for the seedlings and also mix some with soil for seedlings.
Once in their grow spot, I'd be looking at making maybe 2 visits max.
I'm also thinking of mixing some perlite to the cow pat and soil when I take some back to my shed.
I've heard that putting chili flakes around the grow area will put of the slugs and snails. For extra precaution I'll be putting an old tin can around the base and also some wiring around a foot or so high to put off rabbits etc
The seeds I have ordered from sensa. Northern lights, snow ruder and white diesel haze.
Would love to hear your thoughts and advice.

Hey taffy, welcome to AFN. I've never heard of chilli to keep slugs and snails away. Beer traps work great, also copper around the stem and diatomicous earth. Slug b gone works well too. Chilli powder is more a deterrent for small animals buy I bought some plantskydd and it works great.

Perlite would help aerate the cow s#it. Biggest concern is you don't want it to be too hot so if you could ammend your grow sites a month plus in advance it'd help.

How do you plan on watering with 2 visits max? Are you in moist soil or swamp growing? If so, you'll want a medium such as peat Moss or coco to wick up the moisture from below.

Good luck with the grow man, nothing like nugs grown in the sun and soil!

The spot I have in mind will get pretty much all day sunshine.
The ground should stay fairly moist, it's not far from a river. During winter months it pretty spongy to say the least, you could easily loose a shoe if your not lucky. The plants will be growing amongst bracken/fern plants. I'll be trimming back the ferns/uprooting and replanting a few around the perimeter to thicken up the camouflage. the ground should be fairly nutrient enriched too I believe with all the old bracken.
I'll be cutting the ends off some largish plastic bottles upside down, with the cone end around a third buried, hopefully this will catch rain water. I'll also use a cut off cone from another bottle, inverted to try and stop too much evaporation. I'll stick a bit of dried up cow pat in the bottles too.

That sounds good. If you can score some coco bricks or peat moss, that'd be great to wick moisture from below. I've had more success with photos than autos outdoors. Slugs are a killer where I'm at, they love moist soil so try anything and everything against them cuz they love MJ

When you're about ready to transplant, look for a few consecutive overcast days with light drizzles and they'll explode in no time

DV is wise...an so are u taffy. Do all the above and add a handful of lime. .slugs will be a bitch ...the little stoners love pot..i suggest copper barrier for them and slug begone baited every time yer out. Also get some cheap lawn ferts (time release) to encourage cover plants growth.

I'm not looking to make many visits, as it'll need to be during the hours of darkness, so I'm thinking of putting some sand around the tins also

On another note. Do you think I should grow all 3 breeds at the same location? They'll be ready at different times.

Red coco: 5kg bricks will give you approx 85L of soil or 22 gallons. Depends on the size of your holes. Bigger the better.

Re lime: get dolomite lime

Re planting strains at different locations: what you'll find is the autos tend to take longer outdoor than indoor. Also, breeder times to finish typically vary but to keep it simple I'd plant 1 strain in 1 location. Downside is if a location gets ripped you won't be harvesting that strain. Or whatever bad shit that can happen outdoor.

My two cents. Everything above sounds perfect my tip for outdoor is make sure the plants get that morning sun i combated slugs snails and rabbits but mould got mine so put them where the sun hits directly in the morning

And the morninig sun is just better lights as well....way to pick up the ball streatch!
