Thanks Tina that's great to know but I'm actually ok for lights I was just wondering if I was eligible for free stuff then so would a lot of my friends here. Are you basing the give aways on post count because if you could give us an idea of which members are able to benefit from your generosity and which aren't that would be great.

Tang, Aunty is deciding who is testing! you know post count dose not make sure proper testing will happen...There not give aways they are test units to be tested!!!

Tina, the light got here very fast; 4 days total including the ship date and actual delivery date! The light looks great and was packaged very well! I wasn't here when it arrived but I heard the FedEx delivery driver was grumbling about how heavy "whatever this is" was haha!

I've test the light to ensure that it's working and both the veg, bloom, and veg+bloom appear to be in working order. It's ridiculously bright! I'm looking at a pair of polarized sunglasses to work around it! Very excited to make the switch from my 1000W HPS!
I've got oodles of pictures of the light unwrapped from the package; we'll soon have an on-going grow thread for the lights.

For anyone who didn't read this thread from the start. :tiphat:

Marshydro are New to AFN although a lot of AFN members use their LED units.

Mars will be providing two of their LED units for Senior staff members to Live Test in this section.

The staff will provide a weekly update over a full grow and an Honest Review of the Mars LED's overall performance.

This will be Live Time..results as we go along..But..if anyone is Interested..we have two Trusted members of the AFN family that have already bought and Tested their own Mars LED's.

Torched..a long term member and friend has had his Mars unit for over 2 years..and GoAuto6 has run his two units for 6 months.. Both were Happy to Endorse them.

Both will be happy to give you an Honest Opinion on them..Neither were Sponsored...:tiphat:

I've got the Mars II 1600W, pop! It's a beast! I haven't grown under it yet; I'm waiting on some fem seeds and I bit the bullet and grabbed myself a new grow tent (which coincidentally is a Mars II 4' 9" x 4' 9" Grow Tent (and that one I BOUGHT, in case some of you were wondering (and you secretly were!)))

My original 4 x 4 tent is pretty shot; duct tape covering pinholes and the damn cat called it home for awhile at our last residence, so some of the corner stitching is all frayed and frizzy. Then the ceiling (this was at our old place) was like 2 inches shorter than the damn tent height, so out came the hacksaw and a couple beers. After the beers were gone, I said to myself "oh yeah I was going to do something with this hacksaw!" Four incredibly precisely uneven cuts later, I had me a modified grow tent that fit into what apparently was a basement built for Dorf (and if you aren't familiar with Dorf, google it. Best investment of VHS tapes money can buy.)

So needless to say, the tent is pretty well shot. I found a cracked plastic corner piece on one of the ends and that was a big push for "welllll, new light? let's get a new tent too." I know you can order the replacement corner pieces but hey. Let me justify my shopping, alright?

I too am curious about the Sun Series! Will be interesting to see how they perform! This is all new territory for me though with the LED's, so here's to hoping for some good buds and hopefully not too steep of a learning curve! :Cheers:
