Hello growers
My girls have started to flower and theres pistils everywhere should I turn to 2100k yellowish light? Right now 30% of my light is yellow the rest is Blue 6400k all cfl. Can autos flower under white blue light or they need like the normal one yellow spectrum?
Thanks a lot guys:DragonMasters:

All depends on how old she is really, have posted the link below to Muddys guide on the lifecycle of autos, the perfect time to switch to flowering lights and nutes is at the end of the preflower stage of the guide (weeks 4-6) when vertical growth has stopped, so take a read of the guide and depending on where you are that would be the best time to do it.

They will still flower under 6400K cold blue lights but wont yield so much, 2700K warm white is perfect. You can use dual spectrum 6400K + 2700K with better results than you would with just 6400K but you would want the main % of the light to be in the warm spectrum for flower, i am using a 50% 6400K + 50% 2700K dual CFL in my grow and seems to be doing ok so far.

I'm at the about same cycle of growth Peter and was going to ask the same...you beat me to it...

Thanks Spanglish..I'm running CFL's on my gal's till yesturday.I invested in a T5 8 bulb,but I'm still all at 6500k. I do have 4 2700k bulbs,but wasn't sure if I should change that out to the 50/50 setup that your running..Think I'll wait abit yet.

Thanks :peace:

Hi PP, I switch over to bloom nutes and lights once vertical growth has really slowed down.
