Live Stoner Chat Must See Movies When High!

Kung Fu Hustle

Romeo, your the man!!! I came on here to recommend just that, one of my all time favourites. :High 5:

You go from El Superbeasto to Kung Fu Hustle, here dude, you earned this :smokebuds:

Well, seen as that's already out there I'll throw in

Fan Boys - a must for any Star Wars fans.
Tideland - messed up in places and just plain weird the rest of the time. Stunning movie. Plus... Jeff Bridges... nuff said.
and, not a feature film as such, more of a, well, I'm not really sure how to describe it actually. It started life as a documentary with two guys travelling round the world recording musicians from different cultures and then mixing them together into one uber long track adding peoples thoughts and stories on top, the full movie's over two hours long and mesmerising start to finish. I highly recommend it. It's called One Giant Leap.

Haha, Cat Ballou, what an awesome movie, man, if we're winding back the clock let's put these out there as well.

The Million Dollar Note

Some Like It Hot

True Grit (the original and the remake)

Come to think about it folks, when was the last time anyone here watched a movie sober, surely this thread should be changed to 'Movies to Watch' :stylez rasta smoke:

Have you been peaking in my windows and watching my TV? That's just about my list, especially Dr. Strangelove (should be required viewing for everyone), The Pink Panther, A Shot in the Dark, Blazing Saddles, Young Frankenstein, High Anxiety, Silent Movie, Space Balls (can you tell I love Mel Brooks?), Airplane, all the Naked Guns. Even though I detest Jane Fonda, Cat Ballou just to watch Lee Marvin.

Jane Fonda is terrific. I almost suggested Barbarella, but I couldn't bring myself to recommend a movie because the first 5 minutes were great.

I also wondered about including the really old stuff, Marx Brothers, etc. But I don't know if most of them would work
for a modern audience. Except the Stooges, of course. Nyuk, nyuk, nyuk.

I will give an honorable mention to the Hope and Crosby road movies. I've liked them since I was a kid.

I love to get real stoned and watch 50's Si Fi ...

The Thing from Another World
Destination Moon
Earth vs. the Flying Saucers
This Island Earth
Forbidden Planet
Creature From The Black Lagoon

I need to purchase the DVD's because they are not on very much on my cable service. These are the movies me and my buddies went to the Saturday afternoon matinee to watch.

Not really stoner movies, just trippy:
Brazil
Mulholland Dr.
and if you want to scream like a little girl, The Grudge.
