Grow Room Mini Think Different x Duurty Dragons

those coir pots hold a lot of moisture bro and they do seem to love the icky stuff

They hold a fair bit indeed but not for long as it pulls the moisture out then heat evaperates off that. I have to feed 3 times a day or she goes droopy:woohoo:

Still rockin' 2.4ml so nothings changed will up nutes and update soon:smokebuds:

Nice grow!
I was reading trough your thread and saw that you cut off those dried leaf parts, I am always wondering is that is the right thing to do, as the plant looks good and green but maybe it gets some stress..

Thank you midowo, that question has been debated abit. I beleive in cutting off the seriously effected parts as to not concern the plant in trying to heal lost causes, wasted energy.

Have since removed that and any growth down there so at the moment the remaining Female resembles a Palm Tree, like 5 sets of leaves up top and nothing down the bottom.:smokeit:

Day 31 YAY around half way:smokeit:
Still just sitting at 2.6ml A + B = 5.8PH 1.5EC 1050ppm shes about 1.5x the length of my hand now.
Time for pics update

Thank you Diablow :tiphat:

Just upped A + B to 2.9ml = 5.7PH 1.6EC 1120ppm

Hopefully green up the fresh growth a bit more and kick start some bloom:smokeit:Looks like it just wants to keep going up! About 11 inches now.

Also I think it's Day 31 today lol must have been to high on Bakeds Cobras:smokebuds:

Oh what a couple bad days can do to a plant. More Respect goes out to Stunted for growing those micro AA, BB and Cobras out to harvest!

Heat was main factor in the downfall of this plant(well maybe me throwing it and the coco at a tree in backyards jungle had something to do with it too..:D:)
Was under alot of stress drying out a few times a day and bending over once or twice a day. Also same as with the other TDxDD where the coco met the coir pot there was evidence of mould on some of the roots.

So is now dead on Day 35 and 14inches tall. Done with test on stunting such a big strain using small coir pots and can say, I am not going to be using Coir pots anytime soon. Also if you are told they are good for just growing in then dropping them into a bigger pot and the roots will "just" grow through, second guess your options. The stunting side of things did work to a degree but TD is a monster gene to stop I'm guessing.

This choice was sad but made easier as the Stone Dragons and SBR70s I have on the go are demanding more space. https://www.autoflower.org/f17/stone-dragons-side-sbr-70-a-23821.html

Hope some enjoyment or knowledge was taken from this short grow. I sure enjoyed it, till mere days ago :Stones slap:
:peace: & POT Ya'll! See you on the forums

Oh man that sucks but sometimes you gotta be cruel to be kind.
Them coir pots (and similar) are not the easiest things in the world to grow in, they dry out super fast in the heat which can and will cause all sorts of problems as you have witnessed.
They are not something I would recommend to anyone.....nasty things!
:pass:
Best of luck with the new grow my friend!
