K pics are reverse chrono ordered but oh well

WELCOME! This is something new and awesome for me and hopefully all of you! Long story short, a couple simple outdoor soil plants I ran got me interested in soil quality and mixes. I came across a guy on another forum (Doc Bud) who was doing some amazing work with a focus on attaining high brix levels. He now has an amendment package designed for ProMix HP with Mycos. It is a very simple program with a few ingredients. First, a mineral broadcast, which is mixed into the soil and left to cook. Second, there are three soil drenches. Transplant, energy, and a special cationic drench that really does some magic. Finally there are two foliar sprays, stress and brix. There are many fine points to the kit that I am not going to mention right now. If you are interested in this kit or want to see results please google: "Doc bud's high brix Q & A" it is his current journal and has lots of info. Or ask me here and I will do my best to answer!

I am more than impressed with what I have seen in others journals of this kit, as well as enlightened by this brix oriented style of cultivation.

I haven't seen any journals for autoflowers grown with this kit so I hope I am breaking some new ground and we can all learn something from my upcoming attempts at keeping a happy girl!

Following the kits instructions I will do my best to grow one Nirvana Northern lights auto. Unfortunately my grow space is under construction, so I had just popped one seed to keep me happy. I have been doing an indoor/outdoor combo, leaving it out in the sun during the day and bringing it under my t5ho at night. About a 20/4 light schedule. I am also using a fabric smart pot.

Seed germed in paper towel 7/3/13

Planted in gallon of soil a few days later 7/6/13

7/16/13 transplanted to 5 gallon smart pot. I know what they say about transplanting autos, DON'T, but I did it perfect didn't disturb anything and was able to see that tap root had just hit bottom of container - epic timing!

7/20/13 growing like crazy feels like a new leaf set everyday.

7/23/13 found first preflower

Directions call for stress spray twice a week and brix once a week. The girl just loves it she really perks up after a misting!

And we are up to date!

So a lot has gone on since my first post! I've given my lady both drenches, energy and transplant, and been spraying regularly with stress and brix. She looks great! I've been moving her under the t5 up till last week or so now I'm using a couple of 50w LEDs I'm experimenting with. They are low watts but super bright, I'm sure it better than it getting dark at night so either way its all G! Here are some pics!

Ok more pics! and i got them right side up this time! This is 100% ORGANIC. No salty fertilizers. No rasta colored bottle from the hydro store. No overpriced watered down shit! This is the real deal!

Doc made several comments concerning pot size. With this type of gardening, he believes a large soil mass is required to provide enough energy for the plant. 7 gallon reg pot or 5 gallon air pot was his minimum. I'm in a 5 gal smart pot, but not full all the way. I don't have a refractometer so hard for me to get my brix levels, but I think I'm on the lower end due to small pot size. Maybe not though. Brix levels are supposed to shoot up in bloom, so we shall see what happens in the coming weeks.

Next feeding is the cationic drench. From what I've seen, this stuff is crazy and makes a huge diff in trichome production!
