What photo's are you thinking of growing?

Soma Lavender and Venus seed Lavender... I've fancied chasing a Lavender for a while...but they both mention it can be a big leggy...and you know I need to super crop for my head height....so I'm thinking about it....

I Love all the Lemons...from expensive aftershave lemon to lemon sherbet that sticks in the bridge of you nose and makes you sneeze........
But if I buy owt at the minute I'd prefer it not crossing borders..

What photo's are you thinking of growing? Do you like lemon aroma? ACE has this beauty called Afghan Lemon, a landrace that would LOVE your climate! I would try her myself, but from what I read that would be a fools endeavor in my climate/RH%, she'd rot away in a flash very likely...

I hear that mate, I'm a June starter too! I need to keep them (photo's) on the small side, so later starts, staged transplanting to put some squeeze on their shoes to slow them down some and promote sooner/faster blooming -

Clones are fine Mara, as long as they aren't in bloom when going outside (and I figure they aren't/won't be)... Only req' is "...they spend the vast majority of their life OD's"...

Got a ton of pepper starts up n rolling. All the photoperiods are up in solo cups vegging. I started later this season and have plans on keeping things quite a bit more tame hopefully this year. Most of the plants going out this year have produced phenos with quick trigger to flower so I have them under 15 hrs of light currently hopefully transition outdoors doesn't cause any early flowering or reveg but honestly I would be cool with a reveg montercrop squat beast crop this year.

I probably got 3 ish or more weeks before I'll transplant outdoors. Start to harden them off here over the next few weeks.
Definitely don't need to go through all the work this year for a huge harvest.

For anyone who thinks germinating chillies is finiky..(me..)

Me Scotch Bonnet overwintered outdoors and I noticed signs of Life...so I left the dried lavender in...as near as I get to amended soil... it'll see off any soil pests.... ...topped the pot up a couple of inches......and....

I got 3 self germed cannabis...and a hundred Scotch Bonnets.............mother nature's little Treat........

It's an interesting cross, lots of custom hybrids made from it too... I figure Soma has the best/truest version?
I found that late topping, like 6-8 nodes up, has worked well for me in controlling height, limiting a bunch of side branching and bit-buds too...
I'm talking about a few weeks before expected blooming, seems to keep side branching limited to side nuggs or mini-colas. You've seen my plant's shapes the last few years...
This was born out of necessity when the main apical dominance went dead after I had some sort of sudden nute release in the soil and got burning up there. As soon as I chopped the stalled out tops, they went nuts! Same trick last year, when that suspect powdered coco water seemed to force apical dominance strongly and had crappy lateral branch development...
Besides I'm over the fat top cola thing, often as not it's the first to get the Rots and the quality isn't one iota better than smaller tops from side branches.

ACE seeds is in Spain I believe, but alas, the Lemon Affy is out of stock...but another bank may have it!

Apparently Lavender was a Spanish favourite...but fashion moves on so I had problems finding it for sale except for Soma.

Now it is back in stock at Venus genetics as well...I'm not so keen on the 55% Indy on the Venus description... Somas is 80% Indy.


First I thought the description was 2 Skunks an Affy and a Hawaiian....but looks at the seedsman description.

Skunk #1 is my best hunch and homework on what makes the Red bud from the original Mazar/JEM.......and lots of Afghans in there....could be a match made in heaven... Strengthener....
