I’m interested about plastic and fabric pots pros and cons ?
does fabric pots get same run off even there’s no holes ?

Both work. I use fabric mainly because they prevent plants getting root bound, but I have no idea how important that is for autoflower plants with a strictly limited lifespan. As pointed out by @Doug58 they drain just fine. Put enough water in them and it will move through the bottom and sides very effectively.

Fabric pots dry out sooner than plastic, so more watering will be needed for manual watering. I use autopot valves and trays, so they take care of themselves for irrigation once the reservoir is turned on.

Good luck with it. :pighug:

I switched to cloth and the root system was much bigger and fuller.

I use plastic pots with coco as i dont want my pot to dry out i.e hydro. And cloth with soil as i want it drying faster that's my take on it wrong or right it works for me

I've only done a couple grows with the fabric "smart pot" and my current one is in rainscience grow bags. I prefer the rainscience bags so far but my next one is going in airpots.

I really like on the rainscience bags that I can squeeze down the side and feel where the soil is still cool and wet to the touch. Helps get a handle on watering a little easier. They also runoff quicker so you need to be a bit more careful since it can just squirt out the sides of the mesh. (The bags are a plastic mesh material.) I also didn't like how the outside of the fabric pot collected a lot of the nutrient runoff and was difficult to wash out. I found cleaning and reusing the bags easier.

If you're going to order some new pots I would recommend the rainscience over the fabric but definitely the fabric over plastic.

Always used pots then tried the fabric ones,
The fabrics are a right bastard to water, and they dry out fast under the Hps, good thing tho is that they harder to overwatered, didn't notice any size difference between 7l plastic and 10l fabric, about the same size plants,

My theory is it ain't the arrow, it's the Indian. Provide air circulation, elevate, water to a slight runoff, repeat when it feels light.
Not 10 grams difference when dried.
Auto BlueBerry Domina, everything the same except container

Do those two pots not work off the same theory though?
Allowing air in from the sides?

I may be wrong, the Mrs lets me know I am often enough! Lol :crying:
