Gnome Automatics Black Strap

Evening guys and i know that its been a while since i have been back here but wanted to get this in the archive.

Ill be releasing fems this spring/summer and in doing so we made an all time favorite in Fem form and a new Hybrid called Black Strap.
This new line is a calibration with Brother Mendel's Selections out of MO. I've become friends with the breeder and we decided we really wanted to bring out some color and some new terps. Also hoping to increase the colored tric count to get some colored hash. So thats where the project took form.

I used his Black Label Cookies III and crossed it with my reversed Anvil F7. This should really bring in some Hybrid vigor as both plants have been worked extensively. They are from different backgrounds so we should see some nice stuff pop out of the new line. The Cookies in the cross is an out cross of the forum stomper cut that was worked to a stable auto form. I grew 12 of them this round and they were a pleasure to grow. All were pollinated and will be available starting in early April.

Ill spare the details on the veg side because this is what we all want to see....

What a great pairing mate, some serious complementary gene swappin' going down here-
This is F1 above? Remarkable consistency in pheno's,... I love the structure! Heavy budded, fat mains and nice short and stout side branching which makes for smaller footprints and better light penetration No rangy canopy to smother and space-hog, less fuss and bother to grow too! This looks ALF-ish to me, but I've not seen the BLCookies so I dunno if they carry similar build...
The pots, about 2gal? .... Anvil color certainly took the lead here! Well named .....I'd say the BLC brought a hefty serving of trich's to this party though, a whole other layer slathered on!

Talk up the aroma man! .... Got dry porn?

next time i sure will, these are the actual moms The ones in the pics are the cookies. I’m releasing a true F1 hybrid. Nothing from the ALF family in the cookies.We should see true F1 vigor here. Something we don’t see a lot of in the industry. Guys make a lot of photo to auto crosses so we decided to take two lineages and pair them up to see what happens.

the donor was F7 anvil that was reversed to pollinate that group. Should produce some rather vibrant offspring. Aromas on the blc are straight bakery. Candy, cakes, and sweets. One showed up as menthol but it was an outlier for sure. It should compliment the anvil well.

I recently did a collab with Daz as well called the purple Pope and I’m starting to see the kids grown and they are fucking spectacular.

pots here were 3/4 gal and was really pleased with the results. All organic of course. And water only. No dry porn though, it was all heavily seeded for release.

:smoking: true dat on the actual F1's, and the surge in auto <-x-> photo crosses... More and more "fast versions" showing up, more photo bx crosses to the auto/photo breeding to speed things up and stay truer to parents,...

I love to hear the BLC is terp-true to the name's sake, which is something of a joke anymore in the badly over-humped "Dessert" family of cultivars these
days ... The menthol one, did that get worked at all to preserve it? That's a pretty rare treat when it's a strong aromatic pheno'!

Are you doing some outdoor this year, I hope? Are you interested in testing and anit-fungal bio-agent called Phyter (aka RotBlock) this year? RotBlock section is still here, and we heard from the owner recently wanting to re-engage after the last rep flaked off on him and the testing....
If you recall, I tried BotryStop last year (BioWorks),...not a panacea, but definitely effective! Even with the fires and ash-fall fucking up the routine, it's really helped! It basically saved the Strawberry Amnesia outright, that girls had very poor chops against bud rot, and when I got back on the treatments, it beat the rots back well
This Phyter works on the same principle, but a different microbe,... theirs is actually endogenous into the tissues, blocking and out competing pathogenic bastards for space and resources....

I'm doing the KIS Organics again this year, tent auto's and photos, but the latter needs a better strategy,... I'll get in PM with you about that and talk some shop concerning that....
