I've been wanting to try pressing rosin for a while so I could make my own vape oil. I've tried the pre loaded cartridges and liked the convenience, but they can get pricey. The presses I've been looking at run around $500 and I hated to spend the money not knowing if it was going to work for me or not. Enter the ju1cebox handheld rosin press. WOW thats really cool..DAM AFN on the bleeding edge of weed tech once again.Thats smart they used a vape to power the thing. they should have gave it a 510 connection so you could use any high power vape on it.The price is great. I could see people using it to test how much oil a strain has before pressing big batches.

I have one of these. I did not find it useful and it sits in its box inside another box. It can only do one small bud at a time. It burns your fingers trying to get that bud to sit right on small 1.5 inch plates. When you squish the bud often pushes out the side so not good squish. I can not recommend it myself.

Sounds like you are trying to do to much at a time. I've found .8-.9 of a gram works perfect. A pollen press works well to shape a puck if the weed is dry. If there is enough moisture in it then I just squish it up in to a tiny ball and it works fine.

I got so frustrated with it I put it away. The female is no fan of the funk it makes in the house. Maybe one day will give it another shot. Or just sell the thing.

It took me a bit of playing around with it to figure out what worked best. If at 1st you don't succeed, try try again, LOL.
