I've got some ultra crap soil.. is there a way to amend it with hydro nutes?

I only need a small amount to top off some solo cup seedlings that have stretched a bit much.

I'm pretty sure this soil is a bit toxic though so I'd like to flush it I guess.

The seedlings are in quality soil so I don't want to stuff them up!

Bunnings have small bags of seed raising mix 5kg I think? It's pretty decent, pretty good for young plants not much nutes in it...I have used it a bunch with no problems

Iam pretty familiar with insects the good the bad in gardening...sometimes I do need a little help to confirm my possible I.D.'s

What I think I have here are some kind of spring tails...but, I cant find reference I.D. to these .
They are pretty damn small and quick! they do jump like fleas, hence the name. largest one was maybe 3/4 of a millimeter .
hard to get true sharp picture.

The last picture is what I think, is a young pot worm (enchytraeidae)...I'm hoping. It did not have a head like a fungus gnat..but, physically looks like a pot worm. size of the worm in picture curled up is about the width of the ball in a ball point pen

Whatcha guys think?
