Thanks, looking at all their logos and such and since im a dead head for life their bolts were a no brainier. Made from a $52 piece of Russian white berch or something it was just laying in wood shop begging to be cut up. Hopefully can fill it with some nice mephisto colas for my first scrog. Scrog autos is something I would like to ask u about I been ready up on it here from u and couple others. And I'm curious about what height from the top of soil would be a good place to put the 8-12" or 12-16"?
Optimal height would depend on the size of the plant i would guess....tell you the truth i am pretty much a newb at scrogging...its going to be interesting to see how it works out for me outside!!

How do you like using the aero garden?

Or are you basically just using the base part that the roots grow in?

I've considered trying an aero garden grow. I've just been growing peppers in it.
I've removed the light, and pretty much just use it as a low profile tank with a decent recirculation pump inside. The pump inevitably gets overrun with roots, so I'm replacing it after each grow. They are on amazon for about $12, so its not the end of the world. Added two mid-sized airstones and that's about it.

The limited tank size means I have to really babysit it near the end of the grow, but other than that I have had decent results with it.

When I get the taller tent I will probably switch to a more proper setup.

Forgot to mention... Getting the mature plant out of the top is a pain in the ass. The opening is way too small and the plant grows around it.

Loving the pink edges to the leaves!

I hadn't even registered it was an Aerogarden. I have the 6 place one which I nabbed secondhand but haven't tried it out yet.

Yes that would be, but u gotta admit sometimes when u don't know really and wing it with a little research here and there those turn out To be some of the best runs and u take so much more knowledge and options for urself on the next time u try it. Seeing little things that u could have done are usually the best pointers u can give urself for the future. IMO. If u would put all ur tutorials in a notebook I would Gladly pay shipping and a few for it. Im pretty spot on with my photos outdoors but after I read one of ur notes I looked back at a couple plants last year and wished I would have known what I had just read.
