In july I'll have been here 4 years of constant grows. Never heard of autoflower before then. Started in a small cabinet where less was the normal. CFL's.3 plants max. Moved to a bigger area but limited headroom, I aim for smaller plants, Leds. Nice plants but lousy penetration unless I opened them up which limits my plants from the 8 target.( I smoke a lot.). Now its just 3 AutoIcobs. I've probably averaged 40- 60 per before the auto cobs so I can't complain. This last run of 4 was 62, 66, 88, 112.
I've gotten decent buds from crop one. Thank you AFN.

You know you have good penetration when this gives your best yeild.

I'm not even gonna try an underhanded attempt at generating thread traffic by pestering Live Stoners, so don't even!
But seriously, Mike. Take a look at the plant in question. I really don't think you should have any illusions as to my growing skills.

I didn't mean to imply anything regarding your skills. If this is your first grow, I've only done one more than you. My results were purely a product of luck and a plant that wasn't going to let me kill it. Mo explained it better as to how they happen. I didn't know that it generally only happens in F1 seeds, but that makes sense.

All I was saying is that one day you might suddenly find yourself staring at a big green monster. Maybe the final product wasn't exactly what I was supposed to have, but it was a hell of a lot more of whatever it was than I was expecting.

These ladies will surprise you sometimes. Not always in a bad way

To an extent.. f1’s will have the most vigor due to the initial genetic shuffle, hence the term
“F1 vigor” .
Although you sacrifice uniformity

I hope this girl is like yours in the sense that she won't let me kill her!
No point in implying, there's not really a skillset there to be implied upon. No worries, mate, I'm in no state to take offense.
