I'm sick and tired of the weeding, I'm re-doing my main garden. It's 30x50 with two 20x15hugelkulter beds to either side of it that have not been covered with soil yet, and stone border bed to the side of that, and finaly a 16x4 raised bed one end, and a gravel pad for a greenhouse on the other.

horrible picture through a dirty window, but you get the idea. The main plot has bee heavily amended and worked organic for 6 years now, last year I didn't have much gardening time, so I just planted clover in there last spring, and it's still going. The hugelkulter beds are aged a year and a half now and I got to get them covered by spring. The currants I put in last year are going nuts already.

it's a fairly hard stone, not super dense but harder than some of the ground stone stuff we've seen

I do not know what it is, It's hard to tell if it's modern or not. It looks like soapstone.
