I absolutely do recommend it, so long as you have the head height for it! These girls can turn into Christmas trees fast, and if you provide her with enough root space, some of these girls can and will grow into monsters.
But really, they pretty much grow themselves, produce quite well, and the quality of the flowers it produces is top jop.
Give it a go, and let me know when you do. I'll follow!
Yet another update for y'all......
Got a package in the mail from Barcelona a couple of days ago from our buddy Mitch at Mephisto, and let me just say that I am kind of regretting popping seeds already...... In the mail we got : Some Hubbabubbas, Skylar White, Skystomper, white n' bubbly, sour bubbly, and some white crack. Reaallllllyyyyy really excited to give it a go and see how the quality compares to the other breeders that I've been running. Should be interesting!

sky stomper is straight candy bro! candy!! and the skylar white is more of a mellow lemony smoothness. Lovely smoke all around :)
Hell yeah dude! I could honestly not be any more stoked to start running their genetics. The Dutch Passion's and Dinafem's have really treated me well over the years, but I'm excited to start running some new flavors, and hopefully yielding some S+ auto's!
Really happy to hear that I have something to seriously look forward to. I've got 30 beans of each just begging to be popped!

I have a DP 3 starryders a i have about 4 ft of grow height to work with.. i think i should be good . I was contemplating with getting Mephisto beans. I use to get very cheap seeds but since i am cofident in my groing i dont mine spending the money..

Some of those DP strains can get enormous. I've got a few DP Auto Ultimates in 5 gallon pots just switching into flower and they are getting unruly large... haha I think I ever so slightly underestimated how huge these mama's get... No way in hell im going to be able to fit 9 of them under a 1000..... haha
I say that if you have the confidence, don't waste your time on cheap beans. Generally speaking, the better your genetics, the better your results! Mephisto's genetics are absolutely top tier, and are well worth every penny. I highly recommend them!

I know I haven't been around at all lately, and for that I apologize, but between work, the garden, and this wonderful snow that we have been gifted here in the Northeast, I haven't really had much in the way of time to post on the boards. Just to give you all a quick update, things are going fairly well! The ultimates and number one super autos who were very slow to start have since taken to the supersoil and exploded upward and outward. They have more than quadrupled in size over the last 14 days and are now really starting to puke out some flowers. (I'll be sure to take some pictures when I get out of work tonight, so I can introduce y'all to these wonderful ladies next week!
I ended up removing a whole bunch of the "breeders" that I had growing in a SOG, because they continued to veg, and things got real crowded in a real hurry.... We ended up with nine quite large keeper plants from the bunch, along with about 6 smaller plants that I decided to keep around for seed production. I dont expect any kind of killer yields off of this bunch of plants, but I'm hoping that (along with the big widows) should make for a nice little bumper crop before the Ultimates come down.
Those widows I just mentioned are looking pretty awesome as well, and are finally packing on the flowers. It is a damn shame that I had to make them their own separate flowering room, but the way I see it, it just allows me to play around with a few photos on the side of my auto grow in the future, so I'm not really upset in the very least...
Looking forward to sharing some pictures with you guys. So far.... I'm very pleased!
enjoy your weekend guys!

Well shit.... I guess it has been about 8 months since I posted in here, and a LOT has happened between now and February.
Instead of giving you all a long, verbose update I'm just going to go bare bones here and say this.
I'm still alive and growing, and things are going well for me. Between managing my gardens and work I got very busy with the coming of spring, and found myself online less and less (also living out in the boonies without internet and cell service kind of makes that a bit hard), and sadly the journal was abandoned.
I'll update with some pictures and information on the last two crops I pulled down this spring in the next few days (probably just a quick overview and a couple pictures, maybe a strain review or two) but after that I am moving on to the next project.
Been dabbling around in the breeding game, phenohunting and crossing the best, making fun little polyhybrids to further explore and play with this winter and in the future. Just on Saturday I actually just popped 160 total beans of 4 different polyhybrids that I chose to pheno hunt and further stabilize. On the menu this run we have my Blulight F2 (Headlights Kush [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] x Blueberry Headband [HASHTAG]#3[/HASHTAG]) [Really happy with how the F1 came out. Best of all worlds. Medium sized plant with compact internode lengths, but large hazy spear shaped buds. Yielded well, smelled verrrry berry like, and the effect was energizing and expansive. Crossed the keeper female with a very stinky male.] ; Headlights Kush [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] x AutoMazar, Headlights Kush [HASHTAG]#1[/HASHTAG] x Fantasmo Express, Headlights Kush x White Widow. Really hoping I find some keepers in the bunch.
Those little beaners just popped.... well at least 80% of them at this point anyway, and are currently being planted into 1 gallon bags full of a recycled living soil. Took my root balls from my last run, along with all of my stems and leaves, and composted them with EWC and enzymes/beneficial microbes in 55 gallon tote over the summer, turning it and inoculating occasionally. After some re amending, and some further composting, just like magic I have myself a healthy and bio diverse soil once more! .... We'll go more in depth on all that later....
Currently elbow deep in planting, but I just figured I'd throw out a line and let you guys know that I'm back and here to stay. Hope everybody had a safe and successful summer, and better yet a bountiful harvest season.
In the mean time, enjoy yourselves a little Dutch Passion Auto Ultimate.....
