in the stress of getting order for nutes seized, I forgot Pain had the compost tea mix in the original order, so Its gotta be reordered

Can anybody give me a basic DIY compost tea recipe I can use in mean time until Pain orders a tub from BioTabs?

Please and thank you

If you have access to worm castings this is the simplest recipe I know.

Take 2/3 cup of worm castings to each gallon you want to make and put in a nylon or other tea bag. Add this and 30-60 ml of blackstrap molasses for each gallon, add your airstone and let it bubble for 24-48 hours. You should see a good head of foam develope. I usually make two gallons in a five gallon bucket as the head can get rather big depending on how active your castings are.

Of course the water should be without chlorine and you should use it within 6 - 18 hours. The left over worm castings can be added to your soil mix later or just put out in the garden. Waste not, want not.

Sorry

It's all good. Still a good recipe for your toolbox. I use it all the time for all kinds of plants. A twenty dollar bag of worm castings and some molasses can make a lot of tea. Plus you can use whenever you want with nothing but good results.

and like Hemi said EWC or fresh fresh vermicompost if prolly the simplest there is next to fish emulsion cow compost a stick and a bucket with some molasses LOL! These recipes also are great and can be dumbed down quite a lot individually too.but are not very expensive and lasts quite awhile and good to boost other more complex tea with so the materials never really go to waste ime. happy harvesting :)
