Gene has hit the proverbial nail on the head....leaves have a so much " vegetation" that it makes it harsh to burn. The densest part of the plant is certainly the buds. There are members on here that do little to no trimming....hell, I bet @trailanimal would probably smoke some trim if he was in a tight spot. Most of us like to cook with the trim....personally I turn some of it into e-liquid so I can vape it. You can also make tincture, canna caps, etc.

until I grow enough to hold me and wife in smoke, harvest to harvest, yeah, I smoke sugar trim. Growing at least 2x as much this season, hoping to turn trim into oil caps!

Yeah. I smoked entirely too much. More so the edibles that ruined me. I'm so groggy today. And got nothing done at work. I'm kinda picked up after my torched self. Thinking today. What the fk were you doing yesterday. How did you not figure this out.

You referring ot the book called Gonzo? If so, I have it, and have read it. It's probably touched me more than any other book. The number of people who stepped up to do an interview just blew my mind. I may have to reread that now... Thanks!!!!!

Its a documentary...Gonzo: the life and times of Dr. Hunter S. Thomspon......you can probably find it online to watch (its a film). Probably the best HST documentary out there, but there are a number of pieces on him on youtube, also.
