Well, as far as brands go, I personally run a couple Platinum LED's, and have liked the results with them. Tasty LED makes some really nice rigs that are running some nice effieicent COB's (so get a nice, full spectrum white light and not the pink/purple light). I can't remember the site or company, but I think @BigSm0 may know that's making a really nice single COB light. Think they're called AutoCOB or something like that.

Sweet hope I can hear more ! I have been checking out the platinums what watt do you run and what space? What kind of yields are you pulling ?
I use two of the P150's that were in my 2(ish) x 5(ish) closet and then got moved to a 2x4 tent after I build my COB rig for the closet. I'm not a good judge to use for yield, though. They were my learning to grow lights and I'm still doing more experimenting stuff with them in the tent. There are, however, several of the AFN Cannazone team that have been doing test and other grows with them lately that may have their numbers up. Good evening Stoners,
It's funny, at our local BBQ joint they have big pots of their sauces at a walk up station. Since they opened about 6 months ago the containers for the sauce were clear plastic. Perfect for domes. I always grabbed a few on my way out.I guess I wasn't the only one because they suddenly changed to solid black. I asked the cashier about it and she grinned and told me the others disappeared way too fast. The black doesn't. I said I wondered why and she grinned bigger and said, "those damned dopers".use them for something. probably to cook their drugs.
