Hi! I need some help please and I have a shit ton of questions so please bare with me! This is my first ever grow and I've gotta good deal of stuff going on.
First, I have what I thought was a Sweet Tooth auto flower. She has had yellow leaves for 3 weeks now. So, after one week of a lot of bottom yellow leaves, I started flushing her. (Her name is Gloria by-the-way.) So, the yellow continued and still continues and now her leaves are all either light green or yellow. Her buds look amazing. I can now see lots and lots of trichomes and they appear to be slightly milky towards the bottom half of the plant. The hairs are about half brown/ half white and the higher buds have more white than brown. It's so hard for me to see the triches to know for sure but any idea when I should harvest for about 2/3 milky and maybe a few Amber? I have read the post on harvesting 3 thousand times so, please don't send me the link. This is my first plant ever so I have no clue and I would like this plant to be as up as possible since it'll probably make me sleepy if it is a sweet tooth. I'm not into couch lock, lol. So advice please!

Second, has anyone ever had two plants that were supposedly the same kind but somehow they look completely different! I have a second sweet tooth and a blueberry auto and those two look a like not the two sweet tooths! The second sweet tooth has really long stems for the fan leaves. It looks crazy! It's about 2 weeks behind the other but, it's budding and has white hairs but the buds aren't nearly as big as on Gloria. Could the leaf stems being long have to do with my switching the light schedule for my fems?

Speaking if which, I also have two AK47 fems and a Northern Lights fem that are beginning flowering. I won't ask any questions about them on here since this is about autos, lol. I started 3 Northern clones that are rooting beautifully. Not sure if they should be in with their momma flowering or under the veg t5.
Also playing with some colloidal silver on the fems hoping to get some pollen for future use.

Thanks for the help!

Ok first of all do you have pictures? It is virtually impossible for us to tell how far along a plant is without seeing it. Also to address your second question, when it comes to genetics think of it like human beings. You can have seeds from the exact same plant that got pollinated from the same male and when they grow out one is short and fat and the other is tall and skinny. This is called phenotypical variance and the easiest way to explain it is to think about humans; what I mean is that my brother and I have the same mother and father yet he is 5'7 and stocky and I am 5'11 and skinny. You see when genes are passed down from parent to offspring there are dominant traits and there are recessive traits, so just depending on the genetic makeup the plant will display some attributes of the mother and some of the father. How much of each is the magic of genetics. I am a little confused as to what your 3rd question is about the clones, if I am reading it correctly you are asking if you can flower your photoperiod plants in the same space as your autos, the simple answer is yes but why would you have your autos on a 12/12 light schedule. Normally you want to veg your photoperiod plants with your autos not flower them because you have to restrict the light cycle.

Hope this helps if you have any more questions feel free to ask, and try if possible to get some pictures up of the plant you want to know about harvesting, oh and one other thing you said that the trichs are getting milky but you are having a hard time seeing them, you do have some sort of magnifying device like a jewelers loupe or a 420 scope something like that to look at the trichs up close

Thanks for the advice! I appreciate it! I'm posting some picks of Gloria so you can get a better idea of where she's at for harvest. I'd rather not be stuck in couch lock though, so I'd like to avoid that for this one as much as I can. Woot woot! Can't wait to smoke my first plant! Holy shit this just seems like forever!!!

Ok thanks for the pics, based on what I see she is close to being done. I would say that if you have flushed her for 2 weeks that she is good to take down and if you have only been flushing for a week to go another week a flush and she will be ready. Just curious how many days old is she?

Hi Shelly!!! She needs more time, it still has wayyy to many fresh white pistils to be ready yet. Maybe 1.5 weeks. It's using up the leaves very nicely, and looks great actually. A hundred times better than my first plant lol.

Do you have magnification ? If so to avoid the couchlock effect harvest right when you see amber after about 75% of the "hairs" have changed colors.

If you don't have magnification you will still get away with minimal couchlock right at 75%

You have just a bit more wait as was previously mentioned.

Simple general rule of thumb is 25% - 30% amber = couchlock
