I've started growing again!
The Start
Hello everyone,
I'm pleased to be able to show and document my grows here again after legalisation in Germany!
My previous grows were done in a small self-built cabinet, but I didn't have much space in it.
So I had to find a solution and as my wife and I didn't want a grow tent, we decided to use an old display cabinet as a grow cabinet.
A 60-watt LED board with Samsung LM301h chips from Lientec is mounted on the frame in the centre, with two inexpensive 24-watt LED strips to the left and right. If this is not enough, I can easily fit 1-2 more 60 watt boards.
The exhaust air runs through the activated carbon filter with a tube fan and a PC fan and a small fan currently provide the air movement.
As you can see in the picture, I'm currently testing the Eazy Pyramid. I'm curious to see how this "system" performs, because the price of ~€14 per pyramid is not cheap.
In terms of seeds, I opted for a Dinafem - Sour Diesel Auto in the pyramid and a Humboldt Seed Company - Freakshow photoperiod for the roof terrace. Both germinated on 3 April 2023 and now look like this:
And because I was bored a few days ago, I sowed another Seedstockers - Gelato 41 Auto, which germinated today.
For fertilizer I use Terra Aquatica Novamax Grow and Bloom for the pyramid. I have mixed approx. 10% worm humus from my worm box into the soil of the Freakshow, Biobizz Light Mix, and will top up with Biobizz Grow/Bloom etc. if necessary. The same goes for the Gelato, which is in unaltered Biobizz Light Mix.
What surprises me at the moment is that the Sour Diesel is not yet showing any signs of pre-flowering. Maybe someone here has some experience. I've already seen on grow diaries that it doesn't start flowering until the 5th/6th week, but maybe that has something to do with the pyramid. Who knows?
Things will certainly get exciting here in the future, as when the Sour Diesel is ready in the cupboard I'll be trying out some seeds I received from Berserker Genetics.

The Sour Diesel shows first preflowers! Yeah finally!
I've defoliated it a little bit but not to much. I think about lollipopping her a bit, because there are a lot of flower sites in the cannopy. What's your opinion to it?

The Freakshow is doing good aswell, but is right now doing more rooting as there is not so much vertical grow after transferring in the 9 l Pot.
And because I had a spare pot, I just sow a Berserker genetics - Blueberry slushy F6. Let's see how it grows!
