Outdoor R Wayne's First Outdoor Grow in SoCal

Northern Lights bud washing
Northern Lights:
This one was an interesting cultivar. I will definitely be giving this one another try. She was over/under watered from the start, she took off and grew quite a bit. She was moved into the hoop house for half her life which was only getting about 4-5 hours of sunlight. I wish I would have been able to give this plant more time for the buds to fatten up. The buds are quite airy, so I only kept half to smoke and the rest will be turned into edibles and rosin/vape. They both smell wonderful, the Top Gun smells like bubble gum and the NL smells gassy fruit on the front end and peppery on the back end. They are in paper bags now in the closet and my whole room smells great, they are quite pungent.

Northern Lights (Seed Stockers)
This one is also really airy, they just didnt get enough sun. But she still gives off a nice scent when breaking apart. My wife said it was very relaxing and smooth
Pulled about 15g of smokable buds, wife has also smoked about a .5

I will be cutting down the 2 that are left very soon, ZaMango and Black Strap. Like the others I wish they got more sun, but the ZaMango is still putting out that wonderful smell. Will update soon. Thanks for stopping by AFN!

Thanks for the rep @Dankerson and I’m almost well enough to smoke again :thanks::cheers:

Wanted to update on the other plants that have been outside as well. I had to cull the two CBD plants, the SS Critical CBD XXL ended up with bud rot, though the buds never really formed and the Fast buds 1:1 had PM all over it. It has been particularly stormy and humid in Southern Cali the last month and both plants paid for it. The ZaMango and Black Strap made it through the storms, but never got enough sun to produce much. So I decided to chop em and freeze them for live bubble hash. The ZaMango was putting off quite a nice powerful scent. Smell exactly the same as the one im growing indoors. They turned purple as hell with the cold weather, same as the others.
