I got bored and topped her and took 1 big fan leaf off that was bothering me.

I'm wondering how she will respond to topping, keep growing up or from the sides.

Day 22

I upped her mega crop mix to 750ppm @6.5ph a day or 2 ago and she seems to be drinking it faster than before now

Day 28

I clipped off 7-8 leaves and used a LST clip on the middle branch that was a little taller than the rest today and went ahead and added a 100ppm of bud explosion totaling 890-900ppm since it looks to want to start flowering soon Ph is 6.7

The light is 15 inches away from the tallest branch at 80% power on the FC3000's dimmer, she seems to love it but i may raise the light a few inches soon.

She is doing great but i'm cheating in an autopot so its expected lol

Day 35

I moved the FC3000 up to 19" above the tallest branch which should not be much taller than the rest as i have been keeping all branches down and wide. She is still on 950ppm@6.3 but i will up it to 1000-1050 on next res fill up.

I have lost count of how many LST clips used and how many times i have adjusted wire ties, now i will let her go and just keep the middle ones low as they are the ones who want to shoot high up.

Day 42

Well ever since adding the net she stopped stretching, no big deal i needed a net anyways for future grows and such.

She looks and smells great! she is drinking 1100ppm@6.3ph of megacrop and bud explosion and everything is perfect no complaints here.

Day 49

Well, I don't see her getting much fatter so I'm kinda disappointed as i doubt she will give 300g since i used a 300w light, I'm gonna guess 80grams. I think i over trained her then, over fed, on top of the promix not being washed from last grow.
I learned something and still will get buds so I'm happy to correct mistakes made :smoking:

Since her promix was all out of wack i decided to reduce her ppm in res to 700 and let her ride out a week then i guess start lowering the res to 0ppm for the flush week.

I took some lights off pics since my budget phone does not like bright lights and won't adjust very well.

Day 56

She needs another week or 2 at max before she is done, scope shows no ambers and many pistils still need to red up before i'd call this finished also no leaf fade either. i will reduce the res ppm in half when i fill it tomorrow, right now its 750ppm@6.2ph, FC3000 is 14-15 inches away from tops. She does not really have a strong smell unless you are handling her buds then it is a mild pine earthy smell. I have nothing much else to report on her, looking forward to trying her out and starting up the next grow here soon :smoking:

Day 63 and I'm feeling 1 week is left on this Red Gorilla Girl XL, she is kinda of hinting the color of red but it is a must seen in person otherwise just looks green and frosty :smoking: i may dilute her res's nutes down to as low as i can get it, currently the res is at 780ppm@6.2ph.

Day 70

She is fading hard now that there is no food in the res, 90ppm. since adding the molasses i have been fighting to control the ph each day or every other day. it shoots down in the low 5's so i'm finally using ph up for once


Very close to the end of this journey and i learned more than i thought i would. i might not get much yield but i did gain knowledge and knowing is half the battle

I'm looking to chop next week on day 77, skipping the dark cycle thing and going right into dry hanging. i have done the dark cycle and don't notice anything special but that is just me, not in the mood to do it this round is all LOL maybe next grow.

48 hours in the dark is up and i yanked her up because her stalk was to thick for anything i have to cut it and i was not in the mood to hack saw her

She smells of gorilla glue and some sort of sour smell that i like! after a nice dry and cure she should smell amazing!

I hung up the whole plant and it fell.. into the autopot container below... leaving dirt on almost every top.. so i had to take her to the kitchen sink and spray every top off and shake each cola dry and then hang her up, kind of annoying but could of been worse. i just hope this does not increase my dry time.

Temp is 72F and RH is 65% in the tent, i'm thinking 5-7 days of drying then trim time.
