Maybe I will water with ice water (or ice cubes) for the last few days.
See if it'll bring out any color or not............
Any use, or a waste of time? @912GreenSkell @Waira @Mañ'O'Green ?
I remember once, many many years ago, hitchhiking around with a friend,
and getting picked up by a guy who turned out to be a hard core grower.
He was telling us to do this, ice the roots at the end.
Don't know if I every tried it though....

Never heard that one before!! What can it hurt to try if you are at the end of the cycle??

Looks like your getting this micro-grow skill mastered:zen:.

Long way from mastery. Have a number of areas need to improve on, like:

Pot size: Could have really used 2L for the three photo plants.
Soil / medium: Less claytron, no use at all. Maybe some coco or soil or perlite, but no claytron.
Fert: The organic stuff was a nice base, and I dealt with Ca Mg issues. But need more high PK stuff in there.
Lights: Should have got the CFL earlier, and started with it for a week or so. Then bring in the COB.
Room: I would get a car windscreen reflector, cheap, cut it down and line the walls with the silver side.
Top / LST: Not bad, but prob check the strains, as Skunk didn't take to topping well.

Just some thoughts for improvement next round.

Looks like Charlotte has a root problem...maybe Phytophthora ??? I would get that plant away from all others in a big hurry. Phytophthora is endemic in Aus and causes no end of problems if not attacked vigorously, hopefully it is a less aggressive pathogen, fungal or bacterial ??
Cheers...David

:yeahthat: Exactly my point.

That is a new one to me..................... Give it a shot, I don't think it would hurt?

I dropped a couple of ice cubes out of the freezer onto the Honey Peach.
Then about 4 ice cubes onto the Industrial.

Letting them melt down a bit, I think I could detect a cooler pot temp with my hand,
just comparing to the other pots without, like the Jackpot.

Let's continue this, straight water from ice cubes for the industrial for a week.

Ok the Trainwreck has my mind spinning up on this idea. The first cold rains could help trigger color change in nature. It sounds logical. I need to think of a way to chill a Hugo block :stir:.

Yup. That's the idea. A way of signalling fall and coming winter.
There are also some interesting studies on difference between air and root temps.
I think Clarke's Marijuana Botany has some stuff on this.
Can't for the life of me remember the details.
Have read it elsewhere, too.
And also difference between day and night temps.
Could you chill your reservoir? Drop in a cold pack in the evening?

Honey Peach is now hanging upside down.

She came down on Day 70.
Sweet Seeds say she's a 56 day strain.
One plant out of a whole genotype is no indication, of course.
Her peachy smell faded in the last week or two.

She now smells more like the Industrial, a kind of NL type of floral.
Very nice.
But lets see how this develops as she dries.
@912GreenSkell

I first thought she'd be heavier than the Industrial.
But... the Industrial just kept getting thicker, while Honey finished up.
So both strains have their advantages, perhaps.
Honey faster and Industrial thicker.
Still awaiting the testing, of course.
