Hi all

I'm about to out my photoperiod plants in flower and im using biotab,

ive had a very long veg cycle of nearly 13wk and have put an extra biotab in the soil about 2wk ago but things started to look pale so I've stabbed a hole near the stem and poured 25g of silicium flash in. My stomach was in knots as I could see I was stabbing right through the root!

Anyway she seems to have recovered a little bit and has some colour back in her.

I know when I move to flower I need to give the compost tea so she gets the PK but thats only from wk3.

What do I give in the 1st 2wk, is it normal mix of orgatrex and maybe a gram of bactrex? The instructions for biotab don't really give much info for the start of flower so Any advice appreciated

I hate seeing her pale out before the flower begins and shoulve started earlier but the reasons stopped me

Thanks

Hey DK,

11 weeks! That must be one hell of a plant. Did you know we love, but absolutely love to see pictures? ;)

Know that the BioTabs are good for about 8 weeks. If you veg longer, like if it's a mother plant, you must add one BioTab/5L of soil every 2-3 months. But you've already did that. Good on you!!

Stabbing the plant in the root is never a good idea, even for a photo this can be detrimental. That being said...If you cover the topsoil with a light dusting of Silicium Flash and work that in with your fingers, about one to two centimeters. You are golden and don't ever run the risk of damaging the roots.

Anyway she seems to have recovered a little bit and has some colour back in her.
Again, we do love to see them pictures bro :)

Absolutely nothing but water. And once a week water with Bactrex and Orgatrex added to it. ie, 1L H²O, 1gr Bactrex, 5ml Orgatrex.
As soon as you see flowering is setting in like a train, it's time to feed the plant with some extra P-K, either in the form of the Bio PK 5-8 or the compost tea. I prefer the tea, as it's chockfull with bennies that aid in the uptake and processing of nutrients.

Oh, anduh.... :welcome: to AFN brother!!!

Thanks @bobthats some great advice and noted about the hole near the stem, I just read instructions and thought I had to dig a hole about 6cm deep close to the stem and pour it in.. definitely noted that next time and make a light layer around the top of the plant

I've started a diary in the photosensitive thread but here she is just now.
