Hi all. Its that time again and I never know when to harvest.

I know previously I've always went longer for Amber and then in a way I kinda regret as I end up lazy and couch locked eating crisps and chocolates lol

This time as summer and the lighter nights are upon is I fancy a different type of feeling off my smoke. Kinda like a trippy high effect, paranoid android lol

I've read the ideal time to harvest is when over 50% are nice and milky which brings me to this post.

I'm on day 81 of an 11wk strain of black rainbow and blackberry gum and I took them out the main tent this morning and so far I've given 18hr darkness and plan to have another 48hr but I'm now dithering if I'm to soon or if it's ideal time to harvest.

Any advice appreciated, below are the photos of how the plants look.

If what I've read is correct then am I right that now is the time to chop?

Everyone is going to have a different answer but I’d say you’re definitely in the harvest window. Looks like most all her hairs have changed and not many white hairs left and the trichz look good enough for me.

Thanks bud it's appreciated. I just know the last thing I want to do is cut to early.

I never think of the hairs going brown but you are right there's hardly any white on either plant

Oh definitely watch those I watch them. Then once about 50% of the plant has changed is when I start checking trichz most the time their mostly cloudy at that point

When all the pistils have receded and the calyxes swell its time to check trichs (imo). You could go another week for more amber but thats a preference thing at this point. GL

I agree with above, mostly cloudy with some to either side of spectrum. I would harvest it. I kinda like the slight racy feel. I am not a fan of napping til it’s time for my normal 6-7 hrs so it would be inside my harvest window.
