Day 57, 11/4/2021: Seed 2 6.8; Seed 1 5.9. Reservoir: 6.2, adjusted to 6.6. Not feeling great today, so calling it an early night.
Day 58: Seed 2 6.6; Seed 1 6.3. Reservoir refilled with about 4 gallons (15.2 liters) fish tank water supplemented with 25 ml FF tiger bloom, 16 ml cal-mag; pH measured at 6.3 and was not adjusted--Seed 1 was treated with lime last week (I expect pH to continue to climb) and Seed 2 would benefit from a slightly lower pH, so I don't mind the reservoir being on the low side.
Day 59: Seed 2 6.2; Seed 1 5.9. Reservoir: 6.3, adjusted to 6.6.
Day 60: Seed 2 6.0; Seed 1 5.9. Reservoir: 6.6, adjusted to 6.7.
Day 61: Seed 2 5.5; Seed 1 5.9. Added finely ground garden lime to the soil in both pots. Reservoir: 6.8, not adjusted.
Day 62: Seed 2 6.2; Seed 1 5.9. Reservoir 6.6; refilled with ~4 gallons (15 l) fish tank water supplemented with 16 ml cal-mag and 25 ml FF tiger bloom and pHed to 6.8 to continue supporting the soil. Seed 1 (Forum Stomper) keeps stacking! Seed 2 (Bearsquanch) looks like she's pretty much done growing; I'm just waiting on bud ripening for her. Getting close on that one!!
Day 63: Seed 2 6.8; Seed 1 6.1. Reservoir 6.3; not adjusted. Spent most of my time tonight repotting and using up as much FFOF as possible on other plants: moved the spider-plantlings into their own pot, and then threw a bunch of my fish tank anubias into dirt. (It's all gonna die off before it converts to emersed growth, sob.) One of the autopots is having a valve issue resulting in a leak, so I turned off the water and I think we're gonna take both plants down this weekend to head off any mold issues. Kind of a bummer, but I mean, am I really gonna cry if this harvest is good?
