Week 1 (7th day)
It only took about 24h for the seeds to Crack and for the roots to come out, extending about an 1/8th". We left them soaking in the water for another day and by 48h the root was about 1/4-1/2". We decided to plant them straight into the final pot to avoid transplant shock. Within a couple days, 2 of them had broken through the soil and by the 6th day of growing, all 3 had come up (success! For now.) You'll notice they were planted closer to one side of the pot to allow for LST to direct their growth over and then up. We're just watering with ph balanced water (6.5) and have the light at about 50% strength, roughly 330 watts. We decided to try something new and picked up an Exhale365 CO2 bag; I've done a lot of reading with mixed reports on adding CO2 bags and decided to give it try so I can increase the light and maybe it'll help the plants deal with the heat from it. I'll have to pay close attention to them to catch any heat or light stress. The temperature has been holding steady with day temps around 82F and night temps around 72F on a 20/4 cycle; humidity is a little low at 52-62%. The first two to break the soil started to stretch so I raised all of the pots closer to the light but other than that, they seem to be healthy. Looking forward to starting LST soon!
