Girl Crush 45-60 day veg update before flowering
so here we have the girl crush, a companion to the AOG, and a cery pretty lady in her own right. They are right on pace with each other for time in veg, so im glad i kept them together in the one cense. I will not waste a lot of time here reiterating the things i just said in the previous entry, with the AOG. They are both in the same soil mix, under the same lights, and they are all in the same size pots. for a little while, one of the girl crushes was in a pot that was just a touch bigger, and a touch shorter, but it was essentially the same amt. of gallons. As with the AOG, I took photos the day before I up-potted to the bigger pots, and so at the botton you see them in their little pots, from before i know whether or not to be too excited over them. But boy, oh boy, are these ladies hot. tall, slender, and with a more open structure than the AOG, I think these girls would benifit from a little more training next time. I dont like to do it a lot the first time around because then i may not reallt understand what the shape of the plant is as it grows, and yada yada.
Below are two of the plants, from before they were repotted, in their weird-shaped little pots. But they have always been under either the large, or smaller quantum boards. I've been giving them the best of my lights the entire time, even in veg. they started out quite short, but now they are one of the tallest in their age group. certainly the tallest out of twenty20's strains I've got in my closet I think i may grid these girls out next time. I've got a feeling im going to end up with some long colas with not too many secondaries on these girls. they're going to have some stretch to the,m, too. they've gained over a foot in the past 3 wks. until then they were about the same size as the AOG, though they already had their own structure and coloring. they have this dark reddish tinge to the base of the leaves, almost purplish, and a bluer-green instead of a yellow-green to the leaves. plus, the spacing is a bit more open. i expect that to increase too, when i put her into flower. As soon as the room move is done, i'm flowering out all my twenty20s. I made an entire new room with tile flooring, a completely open space, and am setting up racks for veg lights along one side, and flower tents along the other. I'll show you all when its done.
