Since it been so hot these last few weeks I decided to check trichomes. Coming up on 10 weeks here. Normally I wouldn't start checking until after the 10 week mark but I know things have moved pretty fast with the heat. The next few days are projected to be humid also. These buds are so compact and tight worries of pm or bud rot linger honestly. I thought I saw a spot of pm but I'm not convinced it is. It was only one little spot and looked like it could be a hard water spot also. I've noticed there is a few leaf hoppers on the bourbon berry which I'm sure means they're on Df also. When leafhoppers excrete honey due I've noticed it leaves behind a white spot when it dries, atleast this was my experience last year with an outdoor photo period I had going. Anyway I did a baking powder spray down. I made a water baking powder soap mixture in the ratio of 1/8th a teaspoon baking a pint of water and a dash of dawn hand soap. This creates a very alkaline solution that pm can not survive in. The dawn acts as a surfactant but any soap will do. I spray a mice mist coating over the entire plant. Since doing so I have seen nothing that resembles pm again. I do not allow my plants to be rained on as I don't want the moisture sitting on the buds and I don't want my leaves washed clean of the spray I put on them. Regardless, this plant is getting the sun and night today and tomorrow morning it will be getting the chop.
