Ok folks i'm new to this auto lark and any pointers are appreciated,

So i have a few packs of mephisto genetic crosses that i plan on growing i'm just awaiting them germinating atm, so this is my dilemma: i've never grown autos and i've read many conflicting reports on desired light schedules for auto's so is there some rule of thumb! So onto vegging, i have many different lights, a t5 cloning light, a luxx led cloning light, my personal favourite is the luxx as its keep nodes nice and tight along with a few 315 cdm's, now my main question is: do you grow them just like any other photoperiod seed! My other main concern is would it be ok to vegg them under the cloning light/s until say they get to the part where they are flipping into flower mode, then just plonk them under the 315cdm/s for full flowering mode.

Lastly would/is it possible to flower autos under luxx leds 9000k light output, not so much for bud but when i finally get around to doing some breeding. thanks in advance for any/all replies. Wish me luck folks, btw been growing normal photoperiods over 25 years, so i'm not new to growing, just autos.

KLP plant i made earlier

Hey there, as far as lighting schedule, you can run them 18/6 start to finish. Spectrum is beyond my scope at the moment. If you have the equipment you can always calculate your DLI and adjust intensity/length of lighting.

Usually start with 1/4 strength
Then work your way up to 1/2 then 3/4 and watch your leaf tips closely and dial back if your get burn Good luck Gromie
