Nevilles Haze first timer

Ok like i said im new to this so im just going to tell yall how i been doing it i mix AN grow micro and bloom at 1/4 what it calls per there feeding reg. I mix in 1 gallon milk jug in order like it says and that usually lasts me a week ive never once watered to run off or checked my water in any way not because i dont want to but its lack of funds for equipment. This girl has never showed a single sign of stress or over/under water or nutes shes almost 3 feet at 61 days and since im growing in a closet i dont need her to get much bigger. My question here though is there something i could be doing to hinder her growth by not checking the water or watering to run off that will show signs outside of the normal discoloration or wilted/ droopy leaves. She seems like she shoud be growing more but maybe im wrong or maybe my assumption about the pot size is correct???
