My 1st Try At Organic Grow (Six Shooter) Not Good

Day 1:
Day 1.JPG

Week 1:
Day 7 - 1 Week.JPG

Week 2:
Day 14 - 2 Weeks.JPG

Week 3: Noticed yellow spot on one of the lower leaves. Left it alone and continued my normal watering of 1L distilled water every 3 days.
Day 21 - 3 Weeks.JPG

Week 4: Started some LST.
Day 28 - 4 Weeks.jpeg

Week 5: Flowering. Noticed some weird coloring on lower leaves. Light is at 100% and is adjusted to 16 inches above top of plant. Plant is about 16 inches
tall.
Day 36 - 5 Weeks.jpeg

Week 6: More bud development and did a little bit more LST.
Day 42 - 6 Weeks.jpeg

Week 7 (Day 49) starting show some form of problem. Not sure what. Lower leaf tips starting to discolor and some brown spotting. I have not use any nutrients just plain distilled water. Watering increased to 1.5 liters every 3 days. Stretch looks like it has stopped. Second pot placed inside tent with 2nd grow starting.
Day 49 - 7 Weeks.jpeg

Day 59: Plant looks like it's getting worse. Watered/Fed with molasses and Nature's Living Soil tea (not aerated). Trying to see if it will address the issues I'm seeing.

Day 62: Plant looking much better. Added some Recharge.

Week 9: (Day 63) Looking pretty sad. Buds are not bulking up, no visible frost. Looks like it is just fading away. This strain is supposed to finish out at 9-10 weeks. Don't
think she's going to make it.
Day 63 - 9 Weeks.jpeg

Day 65: I give up. No improvement. No bulking up and no frost. I yanked her from the tent. When I pulled her out of the pot to check the roots they were dark brown almost black and very small root system. What I think... 1. I over watered her. I went by a schedule instead of letting the plant tell me it needed water. I should have checked the pot weight. 2. Using distilled water only with no additives, i.e., Cal/Mag. 3. I think I either had a phosphorous deficiency or nutrient lockout (possibly both).
Very disappointed with my first "water only" grow. 2nd grow has started and I will be doing a few things differently.

Wow - the plants you're throwing out are the plants I'm trying to grow! LOL. You gonna keep this journal going for the next one? I'd like to follow along - I wanna see what a keeper looks like!

I have my 2nd grow posted. Actually going to harvest it today.

Distilled water I've checked has a Ph of 7.0

Thats too alkaline, in soil it needs to be LOWER (it needs to be more acidic)........6.3 to 6.8 is the range u want

(vinegar, a squeezed lemon or citric acid) will LOWER Ph.........PH adjust water then test the water PH.

Distilled water is inert and will take on the ph of whatever soil you pour it in so the ph of distilled water isnt a factor. If it was hard tap water with 650 ppm of minerals and whatever else dissolved in it, the ph might become a factor but arguably not a huge one...in soil at least.

I’m growing a six shooter now in the same soil with just water I’m on my third week an I hope I don’t get the same problem. I am only watering when the soil is dry tho
