Late update (2-20-2020)

SO SORRY it has been a while. I had a minor crisis, a roof leak in the grow room, and I had to take care of things. Which meant moving things out of the way until i could get to the issue, and get it solved, from my side at least. But that's where I've been. I got a new camera though, and theres no more water coming from my roof, so we can get back to business now!

AS FOR THE LADIES!
they have shot up like rockets since the last time we saw them. I know they were all about the same height, and I had just topped them. After that, things got different, for one of them. #3 is not the same as the other two anymore. I call them (#1-2) the twins, because they look like they are clones of another plant. they are the same height. they filled out the same way after topping. same structure, node spacing, and leaves. They just have a slightly different smell on stem rub. Not too strong, but pleasant. not just green.
#3 is something else, lemme tell ya. She stayed short, and started building these KNUCKLES on her, at the nodes. Looks like shes getting ready to pack on some weight. GIANT knuckles, that look like they belong on a plant twice her size. But she's not getting tall like the others. Her canopy is staying very even, no stems shooting up from the rest. Her leaves have ridiculously long stems on them, though, and she moves them around, bending them almost in circles sometimes. It's crazy to watch on the time lapse camera.
and she STINKS on stem rub. Also, my fingers get sticky when i do that. I take that as a good sign. the smell, the sticky, and the knuckles.
The other two have slender stems, not much of a knuckle yet, and no stickiness. But other than that, they look very much like the original GB I have. You can tell they are all from the same line.
Here are some photos.
I will post my feed to date on a separate page, I ahve to look it up. I was just editing photos, and knew I needed to get some up.
Let's start with the twins. #1 is on the left in the photo under this, and #2 is on the right. I get them confused sometimes, and have to check their tags. they are so alike its odd.

NOW let's take a look at #3. I forgot to measure her. But she's so short. Not more than 2ft. We will see what happens with her.
She is on the left. the original Glue Breath seed I popped is on the right.

And here she is on her own

I will get more photos this week, and post them this weekend. I have now taken clones of all 3, and placed #1-2 in the same tent that just had the Ayahuaca in it. I'm going to really see what these seeds have got for me. GB is a pain in the rear because her growth is so erratic. I am really hoping to find one that has a better structure, so shes not so hard to grow. She wastes a lot of energy on thick vegetative growth, no matter what I do. I take her down to nothing, literally nothing, at least twice each grow. Thats the original though. I have a lot of hope for the twins.

Great photo's and good job. I am subbed into learn and share. I have grown a few Mephisto's strains and love em.

why thank you! I'm in the process of filling up my blog with what I currently have growing. I'm perpetually harvesting, planting, and there's always something interesting going on. Not only my glue breath, but i also have 5 mystery seeds I dropped at the same time. Its just the GB was just so strong, they popped up within 48 hrs of planting (from a soak till they sank) . I'll be starting a journal on them when they come up. I would love to share and get help with those too because I have no idea what they are! they could be literally anything cannabis.

Very nice. I'm all for the keeping of genetics by smaller growers, and that looks a lovely plant. I had a similar issue myself, with a Jamaican Haze & was rewarded with a single lovely female in the last seed.

Can't wait to see more.

Me either. The one i have of her growing now, is really a pain to deal with. She get light stressed SO easy. does NOT like more than 14 hours of light, period. and she HATES LED light. Once I drop her down to 12/12 , and her spectrum changes some, she goes from a light green, scraggly streesed out mama to the lush tree you see in the photo with the DARK leaves(blue background). They look like two different plants. If you dont do at least 2 drastic trims, and some intensive training out,you won't get much but some amazing tops, and a whole lotta larf. She was one of my first 5 plants to pop (the other 4 were mephisto)and she's the primary reason I've gotten as good at shaping plants as I have. It would be nice to get both a male and female out of these seeds. She reminds me so much of that old school Northern Lights I used to get, and you don't see much anymore. drives me crazy not knowing her lineage

unfortunately, all my seeds were female:( my search continues for a male like her. It was funny, NEITHER of her sisters was anything like her either. One I call Lemon Funk, I'm keeping her. the other was soso. skinny, not a lot of bud. REALLY weak stems. flopping all over the place. My chances of finding a male thats like her now, are slim to none. You just dont see Northern Lights out there much anymore... unless I'm missing a strain? You got any suggestions for a Nor Lights-leaning male? I was REALLY hoping that one of them would be a male.
