Hi guys! I hope you are all well.
I think I just got out of the veg phase as what should be the so-called "budlets" have appeared. This last week I noticed that both plants have started to extend upwards in a very evident way, the new leaves are really beautiful and they also seem healthy to me, they have a nice color and a good structure, however the lower leaves have started to turn yellow and I fear that soon they will fall. It is also worth to say that lower leaves showed some kind of stress/problem/deficiency since seedling stage so I think it could be a natural evolution/consequence. Girls are now 25 cm to 27 cm tall, it's +10 cm in a week.
The main stem started to extend sharply upwards, probably also due to the fact that I increased the distance between the top of the plant and the light bringing it to 70cm, I used to keep it at 60cm but this has produced dwarfs plants.
I decided to do some LST, as many users here have suggested to me. I tied the main stem by curving it down to a side of about 60/90 degrees trying not to apply too much tension on the stem itself. This procedure allowed budlets under the main stem to receive much more direct light, let's see in the next few days if these budlets will get bigger. I would be very grateful if you give me an opinion on how I put this LST into practice as it is the first time for me.
I do have the scrog net and I decided to start using it as many of you guys strongly suggested. I decided to get rid of the tower fan (will use it in late flowering, maybe) and I applied the scrog net the best way I could, I will really appreciate any hint from you guys about my work. Let me know please if it could work this way!
