Flush on the autopots

mandarine-02.jpg
:smoking:Hey fellow growers,

I was noticing the leaves were starting to curl upward and look burned. I'm not really sure other than that I've been pushing these girls and needed to back off now and start the flush. I haven't really done this before but I hear if you go all water for the last few weeks, the plants will be slightly stressed.

In search of that nature senescence, I started flushing 3 gallons of water through each auto pot today. I could see the run off turn a nice clear difference from the first few gallons, so I know they are well rinsed. I'm always amazed how dirty these autopot trays get, so it was another opportunity to empty those out and let them refill with fresh water.

I have been adding a few gallons of water to the reservoir and only mixing in some fish sh!t conditioner. Let's see how this goes from here on out with just water.

Please drop me some comments if you flush your plants before the last few weeks of flower. What signs you look for before you harvest? Do you look for milky and/or amber trychomes?

I grow in autopots and i normally just feed until harvest which is when it looks done to me, going by trichs can get you into trouble sometimes. My biggest autopot plant was 720grams and i fed it until i chopped it

I tried this method this grow and it was ok, last 2 weeks i reduce ppm to half and add bud candy. Last week it gets 0ppm water and molasses and bud candy.

I made the mistake of reusing my promix without washing it, just snip plant, plant new seed in same pot. I had signs of lockout so i took the autopot to my bathroom tub and flushed 20 gallons or so through the top, took FOREVER, hydrophobic promix on top did not want to drain lol

That's interesting, thanks for sharing how you use the autopots and with nutrients. My soil mix has a heavy coco coir base, so the flushing goes pretty fast for me. I believe this mix helps with how I'm using the air domes, as it's a partial hydroponic consistency, if that makes sense.

I ordered two more 3.9 gallon auto pots and getting ready to turn those on by the end of this weekend. @Zeromitch Have you used the air domes with your auto pots?
