Days Old: 49
This plant is beautiful. The buds are fattening up, the leaves are starting their fade. I estimate that it's got a few weeks left.
Going to chance it with some nutrients. I haven't supplemented in 2 weeks, I'm concerned with the rate that the fan leaves are fading. I usually feed more and I usually see the leaves fade slower.
I'm putting:
- 1 tsp Grow Big
- 1 tsp Tiger Bloom
- 1 tsp Bembe
- 1 tsp Boomerang
- 1/4 tsp Flower Fuel
I put the above in a gallon of water. The pH measured at 6.2 after mixing. I used a 150ml syringe to apply the water to the top slow enough to not leak out the sides. It wasn't until about 3/4 of the way through before I started hearing water drip into the base. I kept watering because I wanted the nutrition to run over all the soil.
After that, I pulled a few yellow leaves, tore them up and deposited them as mulch on the soil. The fungus in there will have them covered in fuzz within a few days. I generally don't pull leaves until they're good and yellow or I see that the stem has started drying and pulling away. Before that, the plant is pulling nutrients back out.
First bud shot! I like how the flowers on Sour Stomper are so fat and yet so close together that they form little star fruits. The plant smells like grapes and lemons. Not really like sour grapes. It's incredibly sweet. The sweetness is a big change from last week. Prior to that, it was like fresh homemade lemonade. Now it's like fruity lemonade from a presweetened pack. I wonder if that's the Bembe. The sweetness smells kinda like the sweetness my most recent Double Grape got.
This is a flyover of the canopy. You can see how the leaves are starting to put on some color. This is a change from the last grow with Sour Stomper.
This budshot just came out so good I couldn't not include it. You can almost see some color under the frosty coating of trichomes on a few calyxes. Nice! The last batch didn't do that.
