Checked the trichomes and they showed all cloudy with a few ambers. I didn't want too much couch lock with this so I called it done.
I trimmed as many fan leaves as I could without risking too much touching of bud. The smell on my hands afterwards was sweet, sour, fruity, burnt rubber and skunk.
I pulled a larfy branch off and tucked it away for this tester this weekend.
This pic right here shows why I generally top my plants. it's also a reason why I don't trim the "suckers" off. There's good bud all the way down this plant. Not only that, but the largest, fattest buds are on the 2nd node. I've heard of people trimming the lowest 2 nodes of branches off claiming nothing ever grows on them.
This here is the trichome shot. I love how long and greasy the trichomes look. I have a good feeling about this. I can't wait to try it. I'm just about out of the last run of Sour Stomper. I can't wait to see how the new soil affected the quality and taste. Every aspect of this grow went better than the previous one. I was surprised at how fast this plant grew, though. I had hoped that a 5 gallon pot would result in a longer veg phase. The last was in a 3 gal pot. It might have been maybe 3 days longer than the last. I would recommend this strain for anyone looking for a trouble-free grow with quality effects. The only way to screw it up is to do too much. LITFA!
